We stayed here with two other couples, and had a fantastic time. The Bull Hotel is in the beautiful village of Wrotham, and is very cosy and historic. The hotel and pub are also totally modern in terms of food, wines, and beautiful rooms - the old atmosphere is preserved, so it's not fancy, but the offering is spot on... More

Went for a special occasion, been before and loved it, however I did forget to double check the menu as been a while and found they took the plain steaks off the menu. However did chat to the waiter who said that they could accommodate and pan fry instead of BBQ the steak. When the steak came up BBQ'd/ char... More

For £69 not including breakfast I expected a very good room with excellent amenities, That was not the case. The room has dated decor and just look at my photo that shows the shambles behind the shower attachments. Both taps in the en suite were loose. Even basic B&Bs tend to offer a couple of courtesy biscuits with tea/coffee but... More

3 of us visited on 18 September and were delighted to be served with delicious roast lunches. The service was also superb. Only one minor point was that we were not asked how well cooked the beef should be- in fact it was very rare which suited us but may be not everyone's taste so best to check when ordering.

This hotel was booked completely at random as I was working locally the next day. Ample car parking behind the pub and a smooth check in. I was given room 8 up in the eaves. A nice room with plenty of character and a small en suite bathroom. Free wifi and a decent signal strength meant I could get some... More

No rooms were available in many of our usual getaway options for last Saturday night, when we stumbled upon the website for The Bull at Wrotham - it was a much needed night away from the kids after a stressful GCSE outcome so we decided to take a gamble. The room was nothing to write home about and were heading... More

We arrived and were greeted warmly. We all made our choices from the Monday lunch menu. Our various choices were served on, guess what, enamel roasting tins. Why? Visually not appealing, the food is spread over a wide area, and if you put down your knife and fork they will slither into the bottom of the tin. Not a happy... More

Came here with the family for a Sunday roast dinner. We wasn't greeted when we came in so we went straight to the bar. We found a table and was then given two different menus each. All went for roast dinners and was all very disappointed. Dinners were cold, vegetables were strange textures and tasteless, beef was very poor quality,... More

My son got married at The Bull Hotel recently. We had a fabulous time. The Buttery for a wedding venue was perfect. The staff were amazing and worked really hard and were so helpful. When all decorated and fairy lights in the evening it looks magical. The food served at the wedding was good, fresh and tasty. We had room... More

Tried here for the first time last week and had a lovely traditional roast. So good we went back for dinner from the smokehouse menu tonight and it was amazing. Lightly smoked wagyu beef, cheesy leeks and Mac n cheese sides. Service is good, friendly waiter, lovely building and cute village. My husband and I both like to think we... More
