Went on our motorbikes and there was undercover parking that was safe next to hotel which was great Room was quite small but clean and tidy Pool was welcome and fabulous views Dinner was superb - the trout was one of the best meals I've had in France and the local wine delicious and good value Again wonderfully views from... Great exit point for visiting the French Pyrenees and Gavarnie. Quieter than the bigger Luz St. Saveur close by but close enough to go grocery shopping. The house itself is nice and cozy but the rooms are somewhat outdated and should be upgraded. Breakfast was good and with variety but unfortunately the dinner was very disappointing (and for some reason... More

On arrival the host wasn't actually there. After searching for half an hour I found him. He showed my family and me to the room, which smelt strongly of cleaning product. Room was nicely furnished and clean. Pool was nice, stunning view of mountains. Breakfast a standard buffet style affair, nothing remarkable but no complaints. Turned up to dinner, I... More

I stayed at La Grange for 2 nights in September with a group of women. We went to Viscos to hike the Pyrenees. The hotel was so charming, quaint and perfect base for our hikes. The restaurant was fabulous.

We had a great experience at this really nice, unpretentious family-run smallish hotel. You definitely need a car to get here and to truly appreciate all the area has to offer. Its located in a remote village (hamlet?) and there is not really anything to do in "town" at night. Walking around during the day is awesome. We spent a... More

We loved this hotel and were genuinely sad to leave, such a shame we did not book a longer stay! We will however definately go back another time. The setting is magnificent, such a pretty village and the flowers around the hotel are stunning: good start!! The owner had gone to some trouble to find us a suitable room in... More

The town of Viscos is a real jewel of a village, and this auberge is the perfect place to visit it, and relax. Our room #5, while small, has a fantastic view of the mountains! It is quiet, clean, no fridge, and located across from the main building; so you have to go outside to go to the Auberge's restaurant.... More

A real little gem of a hotel in the mountains of a small village called Viscos. Very peaceful setting, fabulous views of the mountains, loads of lovely walks around the hotel. The staff are very friendly, rooms are very clean and the pool has lovely views across the mountains. Dinner was delicious and although no vegetarian meals were shown on... More

Last week we stayed in "Grange aux Marmottes" with a group of 25 persons to climb Tourmalet and other mountains by bike. The reception and accomodation were excellent. The hotel is ideally and located.
