Lovely hotel, fantastic breakfast and great dinner and staff. The rooms are old fashioned but are well kept. Who care about the room decor, room is large with a kitchenette and balcony. Good value for money and 2mins from the sea. Hotel garden and pool are exquisite.
4 night Birthday break. The place is nicely laid out. Grounds & pool area very clean & tidy with loads of plants & trees. All staff, Reception, Breakfast & cleaners very efficient. Nice touch with the Bubbly, certificate & Honey on my birthday. Breakfast had plenty of choice, all cold no cooked food. Every day the same though. But all good & with hot coffee. Rooms, as with the whole hotel, were spotlessly clean, although very dated & lounge seats not very comfortable. Nice size balcony, just a shame our view was spoiled by the biggest Grapefruit tree I've ever seen. Overall a nice & peaceful place to stay & would return.
I have chosen Atlantis Park two times. Each room has separate bedroom and open kitchen. From balcony there is beautiful view to the mountains of Anaga National Park and seaside view. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and ready to help. I strongly recommend this place for people who want to have good time in a beautiful place. The most of the guests of the hotel elderly people, therefore you will have very calm atmosphere. And sunsets here is awesome! Also this area very popular for surfing, there are a lot of surf schools. Thank you
Quiet place....best gardens I ever seen in a Resort...breakfast just awesome..hope next time around they would stock some baked beans and hash browns.....Elizabeth best host ever..daily swim and greeting her guests at breakfast...extremely clean, thanks to all and the Kelly’s...angela,Alícia,Lala,Olinda....
We visited the place for a week in 2017/2018 (New Year's Eve incl.). The whole place is quiet and occupied mostly by older German tourist (which is OK if you are not a party animal). It's 2 minutes from the promenade with a stunning view and restaurants. If you are a luxury seeker - then this place is not for you. If you rented a car and are looking for a recluse place, where you can sleep nicely and have your evening fish on a promenade - then this hotel will work for you. The rooms are nice despite their 80s look. Breakfasts are the same every day - but the food is good and it was not me complaining about it ;) The staff is very friendly - and they speak multiple languages - but as I mentioned - it helps if at least one of you speaks German. Would I go there again? Yes. And again I would rent a car. And again eat "fish of the day" every evening. Even though we had some km extra to drive every evening - now from the time perspective I must admit it was really nice.…
I stayed here with my boyfriend for a week, and we had the most relaxing, wonderful stay. I usually stay in bigger resorts but decided to take a chance on this hotel and area, and so glad we did. It is a quiet resort in the mountains, and if you are coming from the south airport as we did - probably best to hire a car (driving in Tenerife isn't too bad as there isn't much traffic) The language most widely spoken at the hotel is German, followed by Spanish, so if you happen to know a little of either it will go a long way. The staff here are fantastic and very friendly - we got chatting to Liz the owner and her story of why she built this place is very interesting. The waiter we had at breakfast and dinner was also very friendly and helpful - always with a smile on his face! (I can't remember his name). In terms of food at the hotel- it is fairly basic, but you have a kitchen in the rooms if you want to cook something - or nice restaurants in the area. I do remember the coffee being good at breakfast - and cocktails which you can have by the pool. The apartment rooms are a very generous size with a kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. We particularly liked sitting on the balcony at night, looking out over the mountains. One thing me and my partner really loved here was the table tennis room - there is also a room with gym equipment which always seemed to be available. All in all a relaxing, wonderful stay at the Atlantis Park Aparthotel in a beautiful, quiet area. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so great.…
I have stayed in this hotel twice so far and have something of a soft spot for it. It is, as another reviewer wrote, a throwback from the 1970s, but the apartments are spacious and from the balcony one can see both the mountains and the ocean at a single glance. There is a large pool if you can't venture the 100 meters to the beach. I was here on a hiking holiday, and the hotel is an ideal place from which to explore the Añaga mountains. Meals were pleasant (you need to choose from three options the day before and they will be served to you). WiFi is rather slow and does not work in the whole apartment. I liked Punta del Hidalgo - it felt less touristy than most places in Tenerife but I wouldn't recommend it if all you are looking for is a beach holiday.
After a family emergency, the insurance company could only find this hotel for us. But what an amazing hotel. Throwback from the 70s, but don't let this put you off. Staff are brilliant, nothing's too much trouble. Spotlessly clean. Food is lovely and tasty. Couldn't ask for anything more! Would stop here again with out a doubt!
The aparthotel is located in northern Tenerife. Far from El Teide but close to La Laguna & Santa Cruz. Close also to amazing hiking vista in the Anaga mountains and coast. The information and reception service is excellent. The nicest hotel staffs I met so far in my travels. They can speak English, Spanish, and German.
I stayed 2 nights in Atlantis Park. Yes it's a little outdated, bayern stile. You'll hear more german talking than spanish. But it a good place starting to visit the north excellant walking .trays. .Big apartamento, lot of german TV channels. Good breakfast with many choice.Clean ,frigo, kitchen, On the balcony you'll have sun all day long, while the other more upmarket place in Hidalgo still is in the shadow.
