Hotel Kristall is perfect for exploration of Corsico and southern Milan if you're not after top luxury and heaps of amenities, which is reflected in the price. it is a basic holte, but clean and the breakfast, which was included was plentiful and varied. I would stay again :-)
Nice, clean hotel not far away from the centre of Milano. The stuff was really nice and the breakfast was great, more then you would expect. We usually stay in hotel away from the city centres and go to the center with public transport. We did this also while staying in Milan, the bus station is across the street from the hotel and the tram station is 15 min walk. When you take the tram it takes about 15 to 20 mins to the centre.
They are always ready to help and explain with a smiling face. Cleaning the room everyday no unwanted smells and very quite district that we were able to sleep well. Very good location only few minutes to walk for the bus stop. Good and tasty breakfast having so many options to choose. ı liked the friendly atmosphere and the nice restaurants around. Corsico is a nice area to stay ,it takes less than an hour to go to Milan centrale
Hotel is great.Rooms are big and comfortable, not to mention that they are clean.Stuff are very nice and polite and they helped us find the center of Milan, restorants and other things. It is near the river.Parking is free and the wi fi is great.I recomend it to all.
Stayed for a weekend. We needed somewhere within reach of central Milan (sightseeing) and Assago (Concert.) The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with travel tips and advice on transfers etc. Free Wifi in our room also helped plan trips also. The train station is a short walk away and we were at the Duomo in about 30 minutes via Porta Romana. Bus stop just on the other side of the Canal took us to Assago. Hotel Breakfast was nice, good coffee and tea. Hotel was very very clean. Corsico has some really nice cafes and resteraunts also, which we discovered on our last day.
just returned from milan. stayed at the hotel for three nights. the staff i felt did a great job. they were helpful with tips about travel into milan. rooms were small but very clen and comfortable. would have no problem staying again.
Our impressions in brief: Very friendly staff. Good location for our purposes; free parking in front of the hotel, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Nothing to complain about, but note that the hotel is not in central Milano, but if you come by car this may be good as you don't need to pay the congestion tax. When you check in, control if everything's OK in your room; we had mould below the window sill (we told the reception about this and I hope they have fixed it meanwhile).
(being in Kristall Hotel on 5-8 september 2011) A good hotel in an area not very convenient, but near "Navigli". Parking is almost always available and is safe. Staff is very polite and attentive, and can also offer great advices on where to eat. The breakfast is not perfect and miss some classical things, but you can eat as much as you want. The rooms are more than respectable and decenlty furnished with comfortable beds. The only real downside is the small lift.
This is a really good hotel but a little out of the city. Easy bus and metro to Milan centre though. Wifi in lobby but broad band in rooms (they lend you the cable). Reasonable breakfast with a good choice and really good coffee. The reception staff are extremely friendly and even sent out for a pizza one night! Room was clean, comfy bed and cleaned and fresh towels every day. Only English channel was Sky News but no big deal. It's 15 Eurostaxi ride from Cadorna station (Malpensa Express to here from airport) but 110 euros by taxi all the way to Malpensa.. Corsico is a nice little town with a few good restaurants and bars and some good shops. Would reccommend.....
Corsico is a little out of Milan, it can be reached by train, and then a 2 minute walk to the hotel. No taxis nearby at night time, so if you arrive at night, have a map or catch a taxi from the city. Rooms are exceptionally clean and renovated. Bathroom was spacious. Minibar. Clean. Carpet - rare in Italy! Breakfast, typical eggs, hams, cheeses, toast, cereal, juice, coffee. Nice staff. All in all a surprise.
