Imagine a vacation in the mountains, a unique and peaceful place among the Italian Alps. Our lodge is located in a very impressive, yet off-the-beaten-path, peak: the Alpe di Mera in Valsesia, in one of the valleys of Mount Rosa. We strongly believe in the authenticity of this little corner of paradise and we are proud to offer unforgettable moments to loyal customers who return each year to visit us. Alpe di Mera is the only one of its kind in the Alps: a village at 1,600 meters, which in summer is surrounded by lush green pastures, while the snow in the winter creates a remote getaway, accessible only by snowmobile or by chairlift. An experience for body and mind: in this mountain oasis, you can immerse yourself in complete relaxation, find the peace of silence and discover the charm of the mountains while enjoying a stunning view of the impressive Mount Rosa. Rifugio Camparient combines a family hospitality with an on-going commitment to satisfy the needs of its guests. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the rooms are rustic and comfortable, the restaurant filled with appetizing dishes to be paired with great wine. Enjoy the sauna, the gym and many other amenities like the snow-school provided to make your holiday even more enjoyable. There's nothing like the comfort of the slopes right outside the hotel's doors or the serenity of seeing children play outdoors. At Rifugio Camparient you can live the joy of sharing priceless moments with your family, friends or partner. Now that you're intrigued, we wait for you with open arms and send our best wishes.

A superb few days thanks to the help of Luca and the Confortola family who ensured we had a fabulous time on the slopes and in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble so we really had a most memorable trip. The food really was superb using local specialities and an excellent wine list at very reasonable prices. We'll be back😃

I visited this hotel for 5 days last week with my 3 year old. It was our first experience of a ski holiday and we had an amazing time. Having never experienced a ski resort before, let alone with a toddler, I was a little apprehensive in the days prior to arriving at the hotel, about how the stay would turn out . I shouldn't have worried as each and every one of the hotel staff could not have been more helpful, or more accommodating during our stay. The views from the hotel were stunning, particularly from the hotel restaurant and the bar terrace. Our hotel room was situated on the third floor. It was comfortable, impeccably clean and had adequate storage facilities for all our clothing and equipment. Our stay included breakfast and evening meal. The food was excellent and the menu varied each evening. The hotel organised all our lessons and equipment hire...it could not have been easier and their advice was much appreciated for a first time skier. I cannot wait to return to this lovely, family run hotel.

Having visited the hotel for well over decade this was our first year with 2 young children. We were well looked after from the first moment stepping off the ski lift. With a 5 month old and a 3 year old we were transported directly to the door of the hotel and our baggage attended to. The room was spacious and quiet. The amenities suiting our needs. As a group of 14 in total the 3- 6 year olds were encouraged to participate in their first ski lesson which is held just outside the hotel. Their ski hire and lessons arranged via the hotel with minimal effort. We stayed half board, the food catering for all ages and tastes. The servings were plentiful and a good sample of local cuisine. The hotel stands in the most spectacular surroundings and we were lucky to arrive after the snow had fallen and the sun shone. For the skiers and non-skiers in the group a fabulous time was had by all. A very special place with so many special memories over the years.

Our first experience of this hotel in 2014 was so impressive that we decided to book our wedding there the following year. From booking the hotel 12 months prior to the wedding, Luca was always on hand to help with any queries and requests that we may have and he made the whole experience a stress free one! This was quite a task given that we had people coming from various corners of the globe who were staying for different lengths of time and arriving/departing on various days and times which required numerous transfers to be arranged from the airports, this was coupled with the fact that due to air traffic control strikes and extreme weather conditions in the UK quite a few of the wedding guests were re-routed/delayed or flights actually cancelled. Luca was more than accommodating with the changes to the transfers and rooms and all the guests arrived in time for the wedding. The food and wine for the wedding was discussed in great detail before we agreed on the menu for the day which was unique to us. The food and wine on the day was absolutely superb - as it was throughout the 10 days of our holiday. All of our requirements (and there were many) for the wedding were catered for and no request seemed too difficult for the team of staff who always went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy. There were also many little surprises on the day such as the staff dressing up for the wedding in traditional Italian dress, the skidoo decorated to transfer us to and from the church, Paolo (aka the photographer) and the huge bottles of excellent wine served at dinner. Luca even managed to close off the slopes for us to enable us to snowboard in our wedding attire in order to get the photos we wanted. The whole experience was a truly magnificent one for everyone who attended the wedding and all of the guests were extremely complimentary on all aspects of the hotel, so much so that some have already booked to return next year. I can truly say that we had the most amazing week as did all of our guests and we can't wait to spend each year celebrating our anniversary back here! I would highly recommend this hotel. Gracie, grazie to the Confortola family and of course Paolo who were all fabulous to help us and our guests to have an amazing week!

Although I spent there only one night in August 2015 - on a bike trip through the Pennine Alps - I can confirm the warm and familiar atmosphere of this hotel. It is foremost the cordiality and helpfulness of the Confortola family which makes you feel very comfortable.
