Everything was marvellous, from the super welcome and incredibly friendly team at the hotel. We had 3 nights here and found it hard to leave....Our suite was lovely and a view of Mont Blanc and the valley which would be hard to beat. Pool and Spa stunning and food and wine in both the Bar and Restaurant was a delight. It was hard not to keep thinking about our next meal!!! La Salle is a very pretty little village and we walked around and had coffee. Although, we loved nearby Courmayeur...La Salle was where we wanted to head back to. We are 2 adults and our 17 year old daughter. We enjoyed the calm and just being together here that a busy life doesn't always let you have. Super family time. We also travel with our Golden Retriever and she was made very welcome too. I really don't know what else to say...it is just a fabulous place...it has it all. We will certainly be making a detour to La Salle again!…
intimate and special place with great taste for details and personal touch. Surprisingly a fantastic place for family (I have a 1 and 4 y/o) with a breathtaking view on Monte Bianco and the valley. Superior food.
We had a great stay for three nights just after opening again after COVID lockdown. Slept well, dined well, relaxed well. The weather was sunny and the staff very friendly. Thank you for taking care of us. We will be happy to come back!!
Coming to Mont Blanc to relax and enjoy the beauty of the town was our purpose but at the Relais Mont Blanc Hôtel we had the best accommodations, the best view from the room and over all services. Each and everyone of the of the staff did the absolute best to make us feel welcome and more importantly at home in order to enjoy the cozy stay. The best part of being here was how warm they all were towards us, they always had the solutions to our inquires. Thank you so much Luca for your hospitality, Placido thank you for the amazing breakfast every morning, Cristina thank you for the perfect spa time everyday, Stefano-Lauro-Indi thank you for the best time at the bar, thank you for making our journey easier with your superb navette service, Vivianna and Jancarla thank you for receiving us with a smile at the reception. Francesco you have the best team of workers which is the foundation to having the most amazing and successful hotel in Valle D’Aosta. Luxury doesn’t get better than this! We will surely be coming back soon!…
Everything was luxury and perfect , from the staff to the towels in your bathroom from A to Z , food, decorating, design, air, pools and the room everything really exceeded my expectations, i really loved bring there and for sure will come again one time
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The place was warm, charming and delightful. Breakfast was exquisite: in addition to the buffett, there was fresh squeezed orange juice, made to order omlettes and coffee any way you requested. We also thoroughly enjoyed the spa. It was an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The wait staff were very accomodating and even prepared a special "degustation" sampling menu with porcini that was divine. It was an unforgettable stay.
We stayed at Mont Blanc Village Hotel for 5 nights for our first Ski trip. Local legend has it that the Juventus football team stayed here and it is easy to understand why. Staff: The service was impeccable. Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating with no request too much for the reception, ski shuttle drivers or restaurant staff. They all tried hard to make us feel relaxed and at home. The hotel helped to arrange a ski lesson for our first day, when the ski schools were closed, which was a perfect introduction to navigating the ski slopes. Rooms: We stayed in the main building where our room was generously proportioned and rustically decorated. Excellent storage space to keep our ski and aprés-ski clothes separate. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool and mountains. Facilities: The common areas in the hotel are very romantic and warm. The Spa facilities are excellent, a real highlight of our stay! Perfect for relaxing in after a day of skiing. The facilities are so extensive that even during peak aprés-ski hours we did not feel that they were crowded. The spa includes indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, sauna, steam room and grotto (lengthy caves with hot and cold pools, waterfalls and relaxation areas). The lounge with a log fire and pianist is a lovely place to spend an evening relaxing after dinner. Food: The main restaurant room where breakfast and dinner are served has beautiful views of Mont Blanc. The breakfast buffet provided a generous range of options. We ate dinner at the hotel on one occasion - the staff were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (Vegan). Though we generally preferred to dine in one of the nearby towns (La Salle or Courmayeur) for less formal meals and the hotel were extremely helpful in organising reservations for these restaurants (Du Tunnel in Courmayeur was our favourite). DO - Ensure you make the most of the Spa facilities, probably the best hotel spa we have experienced. DON'T - Worry about being outside of Courmayeur, the shuttle bus is extremely convenient and driving into Courmayeur for dinner is straightforward and short…
The room was so hot as there is no air conditioning I didn’t sleep for the 2 nights despite the fact we had all the windows and double balcony doors wide open. We were on the road side as well so it got noisy. Breakfast was extremely basic. Bread rolls, cereal, yoghurt, cold meats and not much else. This is definitely not a 4star it is a 3star! I wouldn’t go back!
Some would say it’s traditional but it’s really so outdated and how it makes the Small Luxury Hotels of the World listing I’ll never know. Receptionist was fine but the rest of the staff just plain miserable. Our room was as someone said a Heidi’s grotto with a hard uncomfortable bed . The bathroom had old scruffy floor tiles and a tiny bath. Breakfast was not great and staff rushed off their feet . Will review evening meals on restaurant site Only here for 2 days and couldn’t wait to leave.
Although this hotel has lovely views the rooms are very dated and it is not worthy of the very high prices they charge or its so called 5 stars. My room was a suite with two bathrooms and some furniture that looked like was very old. There is a lovely outside pool and jacuzzi. It is in a very quiet village. If you want peace and quiet I would imagine this is a lovely place for walks in the spring. But if you want 5 star service and food this is not the hotel for you.
