In fact we were very sad leaving Planaval and at the same time sure we shall be back and save a great memory of them. almost on the top of the mountain, in the middle of nature at 1800 mts, very nice authentic hotel. Cosy rooms in wood. Excellent restaurant, also in half board. Typical italian breakfast with croissants and pies, but you could also ask for cheese or anything else. Very flexible and friendly personel. It was a pleasure to stay there. Very nice...

The Jolie Bergere is at the end of a beautiful valley near a mountain pass on the Italian border with France and Switzerland, once a "Locanda" popular amongst smugglers today is an amazing restaurant with an impeccable traditional style. Here only genuine food is served, most of the ingredients come from within the Aosta Valley to respect the guidelines of...

There is much calm and a nice situation. The shower was a small cabine with a slippery floor which could be dangerous> The menu was interesting with a a...

Amazing location, at the same time out of the tourist crowd but strategically located for excursions, trails and breathtaking views without the need to take a car, but walking directly from the hotel. Homy and cozy environment, with family-style care in service and pleasant woody rooms. Really outstanding is food, with a range of local (really local) suppliers and many...

Stayed at this hotel after Sept. 15 when they are open on weekends only. Loved the remote setting, the charming room with lots of wood paneling and beams, and the great food at the restaurant. The Hotel is next to a small community of rustic vacation/weekend homes, mostly old buildings with the typical slate roofs. We recommend the hotel and...

Charming rooms, great food at the restaurant. Not expensive. Beautiful location, lost into the mountains near Courmayeur. A must for a romantic trip, great to go there with family / friends... Do not expect to find a standard hotel with all the usual hair dryer - iron and so on. It is a small family hotel, very clean and romantic....
