Stayed for 8 nights and loved every minute. Fantastic location for exploring & visiting cities. Owner Claudia made us feel like family & looked after us really well. She is passionate about providing good fresh food & her own wines are wonderful. We loved sharing a table with other guests & the food was a great topic of conversation. We... More

We stayed with Claudia for 5 days in July and we had an amazing time. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful and Claudia and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was lovely and fresh and all washed down with the wonderful wine they produce there! Sharing the table each night with new friends from all parts of... More

My family of four stayed at Borgaruccio for one week. My 9 & 11 yr. old called it home after one full day of being there. Claudia and her staff are welcoming, friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Our most favorite time was dinner - when everyone would gather at the end of... More

I Just spend 5 days here, was such an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived I felt at home. Perfect place to relax or visit nearby places like Pisa or Florence. Met amazing people at the dinner table. The food was a true Italian experience served with excellent wines. I have severe food allergies and Claudia catered specially to... More

During our stay here, we had friends at a nearby B&B and the experiences could not have been different than ours at Podere Bogaruccio. On arrival, we were greeted by an older woman who spoke English but clearly was not interested in assisting us (we still have no idea who she was), sending us off to see a woman with... More

Claudia made us welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was even more than we expected, even though our friends have stayed there several times and told us how wonderful it is. Our room was charming and cozy. The food and wine were great. And Italian beer is much better than I expected. Wandering through the grape vines and olive... More

We spent 8 nights with Claudia and Stephano last July and it simply exceeded all our expectations. We had the Tower suite where we enjoyed waking up every morning smelling freshly baked bread from Claudia's kitchen. Everything was perfect there. The accommodation, the atmosphere, the surroundings, the nature, the hospitality of the owners and last but not least the food!... More

Claudia's welcome set the tone for our visit - warm and friendly and pleased to share her local knowledge with us. We had a wonderful Tuscan dinner with goose from the farm! This is an organic farm with home made cakes and preserves for breakfast. Our room was charming with colourful touches and Tuscan beamed ceiling and brick floor and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Biodynamic farming implies a philosophy, a life-style and a different way to observe and work the land, in a fascinating merge of ecology, ethics and esoteric mystery. To apply the biodynamic principles means being able to interpret the farm as a real living organism in which each element-earth, plants, herbs, water, minerals, animals and human beings-is in perfect harmony with others and with cosmos. PODERE BORGARUCCIO believes in those principles and carefully follows them in the field, in the cellar and the way we host our guests. Podere Borgaruccio produces wine, oil and other organic and biodynamic products and offers holiday in Boutique farmyard Accomodations, recently restored (2009), still maintaining a family run, friendly welcoming atmosphere. ... more   less
