The oldest hotel in the city, at the corner of 2 streets: one leading towards the river, the other towards the city center. There is a small patio, very pleasant for having a drink (cheap drinks). The hotel doesn't really have any charm. No swimming pool.

The stay at this lovely hotel was excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious, I like the way they try to bring colour to the old town house halls with sunflower-yellow armchairs and other little details. Matresses are great. The staff is very friendly and always glad to help, although they could offer some more ideas of what to visit and they really should update their offer with e-bikes. Breakfast was delicious, it had everything one could desire in a great big dining-room that offers peace and quiet during dining.

Good fish dinner with excellent value for money.
The service is more than professional and kind.
The waiter was impeccable and the dinner.
I ate the fish and even if the menu is not extensive it is good and well presented.

Hotel Sabotin is actually quite a striking place when you walk through the door. It is a very nice building. The rooms and facilities are great and what I particularly liked is that we stored our bicycles in a locked and supervised area inside the hotel. The staff are very friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely stop here again.

The hotel is not what it promises. We are travelling with the bike tour provider Eurotrek/Helia.
We were given an unfriendly welcome by the receptionist! The wine was served from a pump (like beer) and in such an area!
The room is also a disaster, small, loud and a toilet, well...
Unfortunately we cannot recommend it!

We had troubles with our car. The receptor has found towing service and car repair on saturday evening. He has solved a big problem for us.

There's not many hotels in Solkan and Nova Gorica, but this hotel is certainly a perfect place to stay. Rooms are clean, with an airconditioning that works perfectly.
Breakfast is ok. Dinner is ok too, as you can have that in the garden. The food is fresh though not very special.
The reception manager is very helpfull and friendly. He assisted us finding solutions when our car broke down.

Great solution for a few days in Nova Gorica.
Hotel two kilometers from the center with ample parking and restaurant that we have not tried.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff also on country and hinterland offers.
Rooms contained but very clean and cozy.
High average price for category hotels.
I recommend to everyone and will return if I organize again.

Perfect room with a nice view, kind staff, good breakfast, big free parking. And a very good location to visit both Slovenia and North-Italy. Nova Gorica and Gorizia are just 30 minutes on walk from here.
