As our guests you will spend your vacation in the apartments that are constructed in the traditional style from wood. The architecture of the place is traditional farm like and blends in with the surrounding for a healthy and friendly living atmosphere. You can enjoy recreational walks and cycling routes in nature. In the middle of green picturesque hills we found a wanderful wooden house with an exceptional host. The appartment is really well kept and super clean. Kids enjoyed petting farm animals. Delicious homemade breakfasts that include fresh bread and milk can be ordered. The host Katarina helps out with information on near places and activities to do. This is an excellent choice for a relaxing family vacation.

In late August we ventured off into the mountains of Slovenia, looking for the town of Lasko. Once we were in the vicinity of Alaska the mountains and the rivers appeared as well as the sculptured landscape that mimics a Walt Disney set. Arriving at Pirc Family farm we were delighted to meet the friendly host and her pet animals... terrific if you have children. The fields were loaded with many varieties of apples and other various fruits, vegetables and we tasted the lot of fruits. The host encourages fruit Picking as well as petting the livestock goats, sheep etc. The only problem we found in this location was that we spent only 4 nights instead of 2weeks. Lots to do, the thermal spa was fantastic... all services had great value and priced accordingly. We’re coming back!!! Ps I should have written a terrible review so that no one would show up, truth of the matter the entire package was outstanding. Google Lasko and view the magnificent pics!…

The hospitality was excellent, Katarina manages the place amazingly. The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia. For the children, this is paradise, large grass and wooden facilities, cows, sheep, pigs that can be fed. We enjoyed every minute, highly recommended!

Had such a great time!amazing hospitality, the room was perfect:parent's bedroom and a seperate room for the kids in the attic. Nice kitchen with everything you need.the kids had the greatest time at the farm. Don't miss the home made apple juice!

Magical wooden house with all modern amenities in a picture perfect setting with sublime view on Lasko and the Savinja River Valley - not to mention the warmest welcome by the hosts! The farm activities (like milking the cows or feeding the goats) makes this place a perfect treat for kids. The healthy breakfast features locally produced delicacies, so for 6€ it is a must! The only thing one could find bothersome is the noise coming from the upper apartments - so rent out the whole place for your friends and family, and you will know who is making the wooden floor creaking above you!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, cozy home/apartment in a peaceful, scenic setting and highly recommend! Apartment and common areas are spotlessly clean. The house is just gorgeous with lovely exposed woodwork and original artwork throughout. Good lighting, as well as lots of natural light. The apartment is larger than it appears in the pictures and quite comfortable. There is a sauna room on the first floor of the house...it looked lovely, although we did not use it. The apartment we stayed in is one of two on the second floor of the guest house (at the top of the stairs to the right, with a blue decor). It has a cozy open living space with kitchen, dining and living room. Sofa and chairs were comfortable. We enjoyed standing on the cowhide rug in bare feet...it was so soft and luxurious feeling. The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances (dishwasher, stove, under-counter fridge, microwave, toaster, sink), really nice tableware and stemware, and a good sized dining table with nice tablecloth. Bedroom is warm and inviting, and has a very comfortable queen size bed with nice linens, a desk, and a large wardrobe for storage. The bathroom is attractive -- shower, sink, mirror, bidet, long bench, window, and plenty of room for your toiletries, etc. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony and just taking in the beautiful view. Although there is no A/C, we didn't really need it and on warm days you can open all the windows for a cooling cross-breeze throughout the apartment. The apartment does not have a washing machine; however, our host Katarina offered to do laundry anytime we needed it. She also offers a FANTASTIC farm breakfast with some combination of farm fresh milk, eggs, cured meats, cheese, cottage cheese, veggies, juice and mineral water, fresh herb tea, jams,honey, bread and strudel. Katarina is such an amazing host. She took really good care of us in so many ways, certainly "above and beyond" is an understatement. We really appreciated her help with some family business we were attending to in the area -- she assisted us in finding and contacting appropriate municipal offices, translating when needed, and explaining some underlying cultural dynamics that needed an historical perspective. She's just such a warm, kind and caring person. We love her. Lasko is a great little town. We enjoyed the Elvis Pekarna (bakery) for breads and pastries, yummy pizza at Gostilna Bezgovšek, the pools and spa at Rimske Toplice (adult environment), a romantic multi-course dinner at Pavus at the Grad Tabor, and wandering around town and visiting the shops and visitor center. And of course, Lasko pivo! We bought groceries at the Tus market -- one store is just down the hill into town, while a larger store is about 4 km from the house. There is also a small pharmacy in town, other restaurants/cafes, banks and ATMs, clothing stores, hardware, and pretty much anything you'll need. Overall, we had a really wonderful stay here. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!…

4 families (8 adults and 8 children) been there for a new year’s eve. Must say without doubt that in all ways everything exceeded our expectations. Really nice hosts, wonderful view, and large stylish apartments. Not far from “Zdravelišče Laško” (Spa). In the farm is also perfect "chill out zone" - room with sauna. We have booked whole building and must say that our children have a lot of room for playing... inside and outside. I recommend for large families who loves nature!

The other reviews are spot on, if you're looking for a clean, well-maintained apartment in a beautiful location you won't find anywhere better. Katarina made us welcome from the moment we arrived, the kids enjoyed feeding the animals and you are a few minutes drive from the pretty village of Lasko and its amazing water park. We will come back.
