We had breakfast and dinner. Both were served as buffets. There was a great selection and we have enjoyed the food. The three star rooms are very old, but still clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for bicycling. Do not miss Peričnik waterfall, you can bicycle from the hotel directly.

We stayed at a 3* room. Rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture is a little bit outdated but functional and with no defects. Single(sofa) bed and pillows are uncomfortable. Bathroom is not very big but it's ok. The only thing we really disliked was the shower (it was fixed to the wall with no posibility to take it down which was a little bit challenging with a baby and a toddler). The view from the room was breathtaking. Hotel pool was very nice. We had breakfast and dinner included. Food was good and various dishes to choose from. Waiters bringing drinks were nice and service was fast. We really enjoyed the view from the restaurant. Hotel is some 10min drive from Kranjska Gora but we would definitely recommend especially for families with kids. We will stay here again on our next visit to Kranjska Gora.…

We stayed at a 4* room with mountain view and it was remarkable! The room is spacious and comfortable, and the view of Špik mountain is amazing! The entire hotel area is surrounded by nature, there's a river flowing in front of the hotel, picnic area, playgrounds and hike trails all around. Wellness &indoor pools on the ground floor are great and well kept. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, it was good but there could be more vegetarian & vegan options. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. It's a great place to stay for exploring Kranjska Gora, Jasna Lake and even Bled Lake area.

We visited hotel Spik **** in June 2022 for a weekend getaway. Below are the pros and cons of our short visit. + location + you can rent a bike at the hotel + front desk receptionist are very very friendly + room view - the taste of food is absolutely terrible - you don’t have a change to eat your meal in peace as they are taking away the plates before you even finish the meal - the lifeguard job is to play football with pool receptionist or take a sauna (during working hours) - sauna was turned off at 10.10 pm althougt they said it will close at 11.00 pm - you pay the full price tho’ (on saturday…) - the level of room cleanliness is poor Overall, we would reccomend this hotel only in case you are not a demanding person. Otherwise, save yourself the troubles and skip the visit. *If you decide to stay at this hotel afterall, we reccomend you take the room with moutain view.…

The beds are comfy and rooms are large and clean. So for a quick stay whilst exploring the Julian Alps it is fine. However… the food is just disgusting. The dinner was verging on inedible. Everything was from frozen food, and was stodgy and just the worst buffet we’ve ever been to. The breakfast was just as bad - stale bread, soft biscuits, hard eggs etc. Zero pride is taken in the food they provide. Save yourselves money and upset - drive into town which is 5 minutes away to eat.

Great time at hotel. Swimmimg, hiking, nature. Nice place for Kids. We have visited Vršič, Kranjska Gora, waterfall Martuljek in pericnik,planica,tamar...hosting staff at hotel, good food. Rooms are comfortable for hole family, I recommend room with balcony for great view on the mountains.

This was our 4th time in thes hotel. This time we have been there with our friends. 4 kids age from 4-8 enjoy it very much. Swimming pool was great. Food was delicious and all other facilities in the hotel we used was ok. We really enjoy it

Was at convention, amazed at how nice our room was (4 star room). Clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was excellent. Indoor pool area was superb with nice shower/restroom areas. Had massage in spa and was good and reasonably priced. Amazing mountain views, excellent location for visiting Planica ski jump and other neat towns. Good restaurants in area. Good hiking area. Staff helpful and all spoke good English! Highly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel (rooms with ***) 2 nights. Room was okay, clean, only beds are little old and pillows aren't very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, you have a lot of choice. Employees are very kind. Wellness is beautiful but it can be crowded in the afternoon. We had a wonderful staying.

This was the third year in a row we spend winter vacation in Hotel Spik. Compared to the last two stays everything was perfect as usual. Kids playroom was a bit better this time. Pools were very nice as usual. Food very delicious. Again full recommandation.
