We stayed at a 3* room. Rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture is a little bit outdated but functional and with no defects. Single(sofa) bed and pillows are uncomfortable. Bathroom is not very big but it's ok. The only thing we really disliked was the shower (it was fixed to the wall with no posibility to take it down which was a little bit challenging with a baby and a toddler). The view from the room was breathtaking. Hotel pool was very nice. We had breakfast and dinner included. Food was good and various dishes to choose from. Waiters bringing drinks were nice and service was fast. We really enjoyed the view from the restaurant. Hotel is some 10min drive from Kranjska Gora but we would definitely recommend especially for families with kids. We will stay here again on our next visit to Kranjska Gora.

Was at convention, amazed at how nice our room was (4 star room). Clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was excellent. Indoor pool area was superb with nice shower/restroom areas. Had massage in spa and was good and reasonably priced. Amazing mountain views, excellent location for visiting Planica ski jump and other neat towns. Good restaurants in area. Good hiking area. Staff helpful and all spoke good English! Highly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel (rooms with ***) 2 nights. Room was okay, clean, only beds are little old and pillows aren't very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, you have a lot of choice. Employees are very kind. Wellness is beautiful but it can be crowded in the afternoon. We had a wonderful staying.

This was the third year in a row we spend winter vacation in Hotel Spik. Compared to the last two stays everything was perfect as usual. Kids playroom was a bit better this time. Pools were very nice as usual. Food very delicious. Again full recommandation.

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. I would strongly recommend staying in the 4* section as you have wonderful views of the mountains and the rooms are very spacious. The beds are comfortable and it was nice to have a sofa with a great view. There was no bath, but the shower and bathroom was modern and more than satisfactory. The hotel is not situated in a ski resort, but it is less than a 10 minute drive to Kranjska Gora where there are ski slopes, as well as bars, restaurants and supermarkets. There are also nice walks to do straight out of the hotel, especially by following the river. The wellness area is a major plus for this hotel. There are 3 swimming pools and it is spacious. You do have to pay around €14pp to use the two saunas, one steam room and jacuzzis, but it is worth it as it is more chilled. I’d also recommend paying extra to have a massage. However, the very small fitness centre (free for hotel guests) needs updating. It doesn’t open until 9am and only had 2 running machines, a bike and a cross trainer. In my opinion some bits of the hotel do let it down. For example, the reception area is very dated, the restaurant is ok but dated and the quality of food average. The very small ‘bar’ area has no atmosphere and is not very pleasant to sit in after a meal. I would recommend this hotel if you are using it as a base - it is only 45 mins to another ski resort (Gertlitzen Alpe ski area in Austria) - but I think the price does not reflect the overall quality of the hotel.

The 4 star rooms are very good, wellness is excellent (one swimming pool around 20meters long very convenient for proper swimming, another one with warm water and jets, small pool for kids and jacuzzi for 8 persons). Food is good, very pleasant staff. This hotel is not at the ski trails venue, but the surrounding is beautiful and if you are with car it is not problem at all to get to the trails as there is huge free-of-charge parking. Major disadvantage of this hotel is that there is an entrance in front of the wellness so it is a bit cold when waiting for elevator; there is no nice "reception place" to spend some time in the evening (it is possible to have a drink but not very nice spot), and the children playroom is very small and there is really nothing in it...But overall it is highly recommended, we have been staying there for 4 years in a row.

This was our second stay at this beautiful hotel in a quiet alpine settings. The 4 star rooms are large, clean, and well furnished. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. Lovely grounds as well. It is well worth the extra cost to get a mountain view room. The view from your private balcony (as well as your bed) is breathtaking.

We visited this hotel during a cycling holiday around the Julian Alps of Slovenia. Our stay was only for two nights and it was wonderful, wished we could have stayed longer! We had upgraded our room at a small charge and we had a room with a spectacular view - see photo attached. The wellness centre was just what we needed after a day spent cycling around. The food and wines were very good and the service really friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel.
