    wow!
we spent a weekend at Trata country house with our two kids and found the accommodation wonderful and full of taste. clean, cozy, well furnished, in a good location (kranjska gora is 5 min away by car) and the four of us slept in the huge bed that accommodates six! we had a lot of fun and that was most likely the most beautiful holiday house we ever stayed in. well worth the price.

Feels like stepping in to a Pinterest board
We stayed in Apt 5 which has two regular bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, and one large room that sleeps at least 3 people. We found the house well furnished, very clean, and with lots of decor that made it feel very special and cozy. We had a bit of trouble finding the location in the evening, but were fortunate to run in to a neighborhood who helped us out. It's shortly past a small church and directly across from a billboard sign where the first Na Tran sign is. There were not enough pillows or comforters or towels, which I'm sure could have been arranged, but we made due. Also, to connect to the wi-fi initially, we had to bring our devices next to the laundry room (where the router is) and find the network. After that, it generally worked well. There's a nice bike/walking trail past the tree line on the opposite end of the main road. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we would definitely recommend.

    Very cool
As we have been looking for a good place to stay this was a good choice. The ratio prices to offers are GOOD. Location very calm and nice for those who don't like to stay in the town. Parking a bit small but ok. Apartment was as described on the web page... few small thing to repair but all in all ok.. Cleanest as expected ok... I recommend

We had a great few days staying in apartment 2. We loved the quirky decor and the views were stunning (even from the bathroom!) The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for our family of 5, though the garden/use of the BBQ area wasn't really made clear. We did find noise travelled quite a bit from other apartments, and we didn't initially have enough towels, but these were really the only negatives. On the positive side, the owner/manager was extremely helpful when we had to extend our stay due to a medical emergency, which made what could have been a stressful time a lot easier!

We, a family of six, spent 5 nights at this apartment, in mid-August. The apartment is spacious, nice and well equipped and our contact person (Klemen) was nice and courteous. The surroundings are quite beautiful. Unfortunately, that is more or less the end of the good part of our impression. The problem was not in the "big" things, it was in the details. Here are some examples: - We took this apartment mainly because it was big enough to hold all six of us in comfort. But on arrival, we found out that the two extra beds in the living room didn't have any sheets or blankets, so they were actually useless. - There was not enough toilet paper, almost no soap and only one garbage bag for each container. Surely that's not enough for 4 days (The bag did brake at the end and made a mess…). - There was a draining problem at the bathtub. Klemen came by in the morning and fixed it, but this is something that should be done prior to our arrival, not afterward… - Worst of all – There was never enough hot water for showers! Clearly not something you want to deal with when coming back after a long day of hiking or sight-seeing… It wasn't that bad after all. We are a fairly "easy going" family and we used the apartment mainly for sleeping. But since there are so many nice places to stay in at the area of Kranjska Gora, there should be a reason to prefer this apartment, and at least according to our experience, there is no such reason.

We are grateful for any feedback. Only this way we can improve our service. We need to answer to examples written by Yiftah: - Two extra beds in the living room are for 7th and 8th person. Apartment has two bedrooms and each bedroom has 3 beds (1 single and 1 double bed). So apartment was prepared for 6 persons. I do not understand where the problem was. - For start we always give some tolilet paper, soap and garbage bag. If oneof this things is out it is always possible to ask for additional. Please note we are not hotel. So if we would be asked, we could act properly. - Draining problem is one of the issue which we cannot plan ahead. It can happen every day. We do not know how previous guests were showering. - If the house is full there could happen that the water is not hot, but still it is warm and not cold. Thanks again, Klemen

We have just arrived from our holiday in Slovenia in apartments Trata. We chose the apartments because of previous great reviews and website. As I always do I am going to be objective and write an honest review. So, I´d like to start with good things. First of all, the owner is a nice and very polite guy. We stay in the apartment no. 6. There are two enough big bedrooms with beds and wardrobes. An open kitchen with dinning room, which I have to point it out that is very well equipped. Everything necessary is there, a big fridge with a freezer. We appreciated a TV with satellite (more than enough channels, mostly in English). We had a balcony with a clotheshorse which was nice. And here where it´s ending everything nice. The real problem is that the apartment´s house is an very old building and it is still under reconstruction. So, part of the apartments have still old windows and you can still smell the dampness, when you look at a window frame there is black mould. And top of that the owner doesn´t heat the apartment properly. In our case, there were "central heating" in each bedrooms but went on only one and it wasn´t hot at all, only slightly warm for two hours a day. In the bathroom it was the same problem. We were really lucky that only one day was like 9 C, other days were a nice and warm weather. We said to the owner our concern very first day but his explanation was weak. He gave us another heater which doesn´t fix a whole problem of the house. I am pretty sure he is aware of the problem but do nothing at all. As I said, one day was a cold rainy day, so I guess that also another guests stayed inside and used heaters as well. So, sure enough, the electricity turn off because electricity were overloaded! We called the owner and with my husband they fixed it by phone. However, I cannot imagine stay there in spring or even in winter when the weather and outside temperature is low. Also, the house is located near a busy road. But to be honest, it is problem with any other apartment in Gozd Martuljek that through the village goes busy road. I am sorry to write such an unpleasant review but that is the truth about the apartment as I see it.

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback. It is always helpful. The house is heated 24/7 in spring, winter and autumn. Windows are old just in this apartment but we are closing the house for 3 months now just to fix and renovate what it is still old. Welcome back in winter and you will see the difference. Thank you again for being our guests and for feedback. Greetings, Klemen
