We enjoyed our stay. Large camping place. Facilities are fine, clean. In a busy period, it is challenging to have enough facilities for such a big camping. We liked the restaurant although the service level was not consistent. Good food. We didn't like the music, though. The

This camp site is huge. I'm sure it's great for people with smaller kids, but for someone who's 20 and 15, it's not anything special. It's very crowded and touristy, and also kind of expensive. There is a lake on the camp site with a life guard, but the lake was so gross,

I would not recommend this camping if you are planning to stay at the standard zone. There are no marked places and it is the ‘right of the strongest person’. We ended up with our 2 persons tent between 3(!) cars of which only one was ours and no further space. We actually ended

In short, the campsite is very nicely located, with clean facilities, a nice recreation lake and stuff to do for kids. When dealing with reception and restaurant staff though, we felt treated like we were nothing more than the caretakers of our wallets instead of actual people

Dear Michel B. Thank you for your not so honest review. We are sorry that you felt our staff as unfriendly. The space you were on was not intended for the group (it was also not reserved). But in agreement with the head of the group, you voluntarily replace it. The group helped you. We found a pitch of the higher standard that you accepted. The leader of the group, even says that he contributed you the difference for the extra charge of your pitch? For the kindness you have dedicated to the group, you could have set up an additional tent on the pitch, etc., for free. At departure, you asked at the reception for a non-payment of two nights (because you needed to move?? ...), which of course wasn’t approved. You voluntarily moved and according to the group you were payed for diference? We always accept the criticism given by the guests, for we want to be even better. We do not accept the contemptions and falsehoods that are spread by some of the guests. You are always welcome at Camping Šobec and we will try to satisfy your expectations. With respect,

Nice peaceful place to visit close to lake Bled. It is located next to a wonderful river and with a nice lake inside. Everything is close by and the place feels very safe. You can go swimming in the lake and it even has a nice part just for kids.

Dear Mr. Guglio, campsite is on the walking distance from train station and bus station in Lesce (app. 10min), there are buses going from campsite, you are able to rent bikes, so yes, you will be able to have proper vacations even without a car. With kind regards from Slovenia!

"Walk round then choose spot"
"Walk/Drive around the site to pick the ideal spot. Plenty of choice."
"Not a hotel we stopped in a caravan. Good for families"
"you find your own spot in amongst the trees, so my advice is to drive round and take your time. There are some amazing spots down by the river. But make sure your electric lead will reach a junction box before you set up!"
"make sure you take big long strong nails to match your pitch and not regular pegs as the ground can be quite rocky. There is a hardware store in the local town which has all supplies if you dont have something."
