A beautiful place at the river. We loved the free zone and the relaxed environment in the nature. A not too crowded place with great views. Bathing in the lake is very refreshing, the river works, too. We lived to be here, and extended our stay.
We stayed 16 nights in this very expensive camping. We were very disappointed that every activity had to be paid for while this was not mentioned on the website. Our kids have chosen this camping for the sport facilities but you even had to pay for the net on the ping-pong table, the beach volleybal, tennis. As a result the sport facilities were bearily used. Really a shame. We are used to rent a refrigerator but this was a tiny little box in the centre of the camping which took us 10 minutes to walk to. In short: great camping for a short stay, otherwise much too expensive in relation to what you get.
However we had a reservation we had to change the pitch after one day (so set up the whole caravan 2 times) due to the camping awkward organization, and at the end we had to pay the reservation fee, which is ridiculous. The campsite was full of bad-looking people, our tent got stolen from the pitch.
It is a five star campsite so I had expected hot water in a shower. Convenience store on site. Possibilty of water sports. Cycling route to Bled. If you want peace head for the riverside. Quite noisy by the lake.
This campsite had been on our bucket list but since it had always been full we took the current situation to viait it this year. Very peaceful, especially in the zone next to the river. We loved everything. The only downside is there is no hot in the waterstations and in some sanitary objects. But allinall a beautiful campsite.
It's for sure one of the nicest camps in Slovenia, but I'm sad to say that this was our last visit here. We've struggled with this before, but this time it went beyond anything acceptable... The whole concept of camping in Šobec is wrecked by endless amount of daily visitors. This is something you will feel accross the whole camping ground, but it's especially problematic if you're staying near the lake. You will have visitors literally crawling across your dining table, settling down on what was supposed to be a numbered lot that you are paying for, they will simply lay down there, have a piknik and whatnot. They will not use the roads, but will walk between campers and tents. You will have outside dog walkers wake you up at 7am, one day someone even decided to practice saxophone at 7.15 am sitting by the lake...I mean, really, you name it. You will get all sorts of rude behaviour from people that don't even camp here and have not paid a single EUR...That's not even to mention them being loud, but ok, that's to be expected if you're camping near children's playground. Why the management allows this is beyond my understanding. Vistitors simply come here, don't spend any money, leave their trash and annoy the actual customers, who, mind you, are paying an exclusive level rate, this is not some cheap camp. Aside from charging the entrance after July 1st, management has done little or nothing at all to put this under some sort of order. There are no clear indications where the visitors can go, there are no clear rules to indicate any sort of limited behaviour that would protect the intimacy and peace of staying for campers, there is no security personnel, etc. So the visitors themselves are not to be blamed exclusively, this is something that management should fix. But, after talking to the reception desk, I have little hope that ¸things will change anytime soon... So, aynway, this camp as beautiful as it is, is not for us anymore.…
Friendly staff at arrival, camping seemed very clean and well maintained. You get a map and can drive a round a bit to pick a good spot. There are a few facilities (own private artificial lake, restaurant, mini golf, etc) Also a river flows around the camping kinda, you can hear it at night. Toilets/showers were very clean and fancy for a camping. Everything seemed very new. We intended to visit camping Bled but it was full, not dissapointed with this camping though. Would visit again! :)
The palace is beautiful and clean, and there is some ducks and swan swimming in the lake, water is Clear and you can easy to found water for drinks around the lakes. Good choices for spending time with the family and kids.
Awesome campsite with modern facilities, small lake and beautiful nature. There is also a small grocery store and a huge restaurant, you can choose your own place on standard (free zone) or you can be on Premium places directly at the river or lake.
BEAUTIFUL CAMPSITE, super friendly and helpful staff, tons of amenities, even a little market. Nice big pitches and a fabulous location! It’s pricey but I think around lake bled they all are! Toilets and showers are super clean and that’s the main thing! Highly recommend :)
