After a bit of indecision, I returned to the hotel this year and my conclusion is that there have been some improvements and that it is a safe place to stay at. To begin with the safety, it was nice to notice that they went the extra mile to stick to the Covid-related security measures: temperature scan, disinfectants, different in/out doors, cleaning service in the room only upon request, no inner pool, limited SPA services. It was also very pleasant to see the restaurant staff stick to the measures, without a fault - plexiglass screens so you couldn't serve your own food during breakfast, everyone wore a mask (properly!) and gloves, tables got disinfected. Overall, inside the hotel premises I felt very safe and protected and just to note for the sake of other potential visitors - this does not extend to Eforie Nord. Very few people wearing masks in crowded places, not even those people selling food, so be mindful of your health when you're out for a walk.
Regarding improvements, it was a nice surprise that the safe was not electronic (though it did feel ridiculously tiny) and also that the pool staff was more careful to enforce the rule that if you left you couldn't keep a lounge occupied with a towel for later. I would still love a fully private beach more but it was nice to see that the part of it that was not close to the water was pretty free and allowed social distancing. Overall, the staff seemed more patient and kinder than usual and I have a special shoutout for the support I had during the reservation process.
I don't think I ever had a room on the 10th floor before, the view was absolutely stunning. I was not bothered by the noise from the air conditioning but, to my taste, it seemed that I could never get it to stop being too cold. The fruit plate I had in my room upon arrival was also a lovely surprise for someone with a sweet tooth, like myself.
Last but not least, the restaurant was incredible. Although it is not my first stay at the hotel, it is my first time taking all my meals there and I cannot compliment their a la carte choices enough. Delicious and incredibly generous portions, and very professional staff.

Ceea ce impresioneaza, inainte de orice, este curtea dinspre mare: design peisagistic si ingrijire deosebite.
SPA-ul (cu piscina cu apa din Techirghiol si multiple proceduri cu namol din acelasi lac) reprezinta un atu important in alegeera acestui loc de odihna si, mai ales, tratament.

What impresses, first of all, is the courtyard from the sea: landscape design and special care.
The SPA (the pool with water from Techirghiol and multiple mud procedures ) is an important asset in choosing this place of rest and, especially, treatment.

It is where we lived the most, in Romania, apart from home. In Spring and autumn, we were the guests of this property to benefit from the services of the Ana Aslan spa. The sea view rooms, the beautiful gardens, the hotel services, the professionalism and the friendliness of the employees offer everything for total comfort.

In the weekend with 1 of May and the Easter we took few rooms with, of course, a lot of money.
The problems started before to start the holiday:
1. We asked to know about the access to facilities (pool, SPA) and they said that they don't really knew yet how they will manage it.
2. Then, we talked that for a room to be a baby cot. We was surprised when they forgot it even if they confirmed that.
3. At the dinner surprise: even if we talked from the same email for the 3 rooms, we talked on the phone and paid from the same account, we had to stay separated because "how could we know that you are together?". The main problem was the cheeky waiter who didn't want to solve the problem. At the end we stayed 4 people at a table of for and 2 people at a table of six. Near us 3 table of six people which refused to stay there because they preferred other tables.
Conclusion? After you spend few thousand euros in few years and coming in extraseason for some facilities, when they have some new customers you will be discriminate. Because they can.
Conclusion: after a weekend when we have to pay more than 2 thousand euros, the conclusion is that Hotel Europa is just a shadow of what it was.

Hotel Europa is a very beautiful, very elegant place equipped with all the necessary facilities for a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. I have visited this hotel a few times in the past, last time being ten years ago.
Few things changed: a new outdoor area of the spa, a new terrace for the restaurant, rooms updated but the bathrooms need some refurbishments too. The reception area is pretty much the same, so is the restaurant. But the entire complex is very well maintained.
Giving the situation and the occupancy grade in the first week of October, the food was excellent. We had half board so the food was buffet style.
The whole service, as always, was flawless. And this includes all the staff: restaurant, reception, spa...
We were lucky enough to catch some sun and swim, 4-5 people at the pool was the peak. The beach was totally empty.
Overall, glad to come back, glad they keep the standards, glad to have a perfect, sunny, 5 days holiday.

I highly recommend this hotel. The entire staff is very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, polite, courteous. The rooms are clean and and equipped with all necessary items, cleaned and towels changed every day. The internet is super fast and available in every room. The concierge staff are extremely nice and professional. The restaurant is fully staffed, the food is something to write home about. The grounds are very well taken care of, the pool is extra clean. the Ana Aslan health spa experience is unique, very friendly and experienced professionals. I cannot add enough accolades to this unique experience.

Breakfast is a fight for survival experience. You do not feel that you can start your day in a pleasant way
Large windows which cannot keep the heat from goin into the room. The temperature of the air coming from the AC was very high. You are advised to use a plastic drape which makes the room dark in order to gain 1-3 degrees, maybe.

After not even one day, I can say that the stay here is absolutely amazing ! We enjoyed the comfort (room, view) - such a great room with awesome view, the SPA experience (massages, therapies, pool, jacuzzi) it was above expectations and the food&drinks are 100% tasty… We are definitely spoiled and cannot wait to come again! An oasis of calm, the Europa Hotel in Eforie Nord is a good choice to spend a week or two on the shores of the Black Sea for the beach or treatment.

Hello!The new pool comes with a fee for all guests.
Cand am fost inca era racoare, dar stiu ca primesti o bratara. E semnul ca stai in hotel pentru plaja, piscina interioara si exterioara.... Vacanta placuta!
If there is a special event (i.e. easter) then yes. The kids have the outdoor garden with slides to enjoy. Also the street is packed with restaurants and cafes and clubs.
The sun beds are included in the room rate.Acces to inside swimming pool is 50% discounted, 30 lei/person/day.
