Beautiful area în the middle of the forest. It is pacefull and relaxing. Very clean rooms, and nice host. It is chidren friendly. Outdor have barbeque place, and space for children to play. We didn't eat much there, just simple breakfast. The forest road to the villa it is ok ( we have a Logan car). We like this place very much.
Just been there for the weekend and had a wonderful relaxing time. The retreat is a great place to go and reconnect with the nature, but still having the comfort. As much as I would like to keep this place a secret so that it still maintains its charm, i must recommend it as it deserves. The place is quite small, having only 9 rooms, a large dinning room (with a PS4 in case you get bored). The rooms are clean and the furniture is well maintained. We came across this place in one of our hikes and decided we must return for a full experience. It is located 30mins drive from Azuga on a forest road if driving 20-25km/h, but of good quality, offering lovely scenery along the way. In the garden you'll find a wooden kiosk with 4 large wooden tables, a barbecue and kids playground incl 2 swings for adults. We arrived late in the evening given the traffic along Prahova Valley, but we're welcomed. We asked in advance if we can use the barbecue station and the host was nice to offer tools, plates, space in the fridge, etc. They also have a small restaurant with the basics but sufficient: trout, pork meat, pancakes, omelettes, donuts (aka "papanasi"), fruit liquors and similar. Some of the rooms are large some smaller. The only reason I didn't rank it higher was the sound isolation in rooms. Some guests with children arrived in the middle of the night and were "kind" enough to shout on the hallway and in the rooms, repeating the exercise in the morning. Well, nothing is perfect. The rooms were heated (5 degrees at night end of Aug), hot water mostly in the morning and late afternoon, but that's sufficient to have your showers. Being remotely located, it is a quiet place and every now and then some ATVs will disturb the serenity but not as much to ruin your walk or stay. We had rooms 5 (spacious) and 6 (smaller) - see pictures for reference. The best thing about this place is that you can enjoy a long walk along the road, or take hikes on the narrow mountain paths. Next is a stream of water that will complete the sound of nature :-). We paid 120ron/night at this price I don't think you can find anything better in the area. We were mostly going to Predeal for the weekends, but in the last year we saw little progress on the works carried out in the city with the muddy roads. I hope this place won't get "commercial".…
The location is rather small, 8-9 rooms in total. If you go there you must be prepared to stay in the middle of the forest with no neighbors for miles, since from the nearest town you must drive 10 miles to get there. The food served there is simple but ok, they let you use the grill if you want to brig something to cook outdoor. It has beautiful surroundings, a forest, a river near by. It's a great place to stay during the summer if you want to stay at cool place, great place to take long walks in the forest, and to be near the nature, and to be unplugged from the noise and the technology.
If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of the nature (literally in the middle of the forest), this is the place to be. We arrived at 10 o'clock at night and we were welcomed by a very nice lady. From the moment I stepped out of the car and saw the woman smiling, I felt a positive vibe. The room was big, the bathroom clean, the mattress so comfortable I could sleep in it for days! We had room nr.8. In the morning we woke up, ate ( the menu is the kind of food your grandma would make - simple, tasty and not for the picky ones ). They have fresh trout and homemade jam which you can also buy to take it home. We stayed 3 nights. The first one was perfect. After that, 4 or 5 families came (all with children) and to be honest, we are not the fan of naughty and bad mannered kind of children. They made a lot of noise screaming and running in the building. But we could still enjoy our stay and the surroundings (the owners provided us mountain bikes, blanket to put it on the grass and monopoly game). I am sure next time we will come here, I will find this place improved in order of room facilities and WiFi and phone signal. It seems like a family business that cares a lot about their clients. The lady and the man that helped us having a great time were constantly asking if we need something or if they can do anything for us to make our stay more pleasant. This means a lot for me and I will come back here anytime soon.…
Very nice surroundings. Outside everything looks amazing! But the facilities are just average and hosts are bad mannered if not agressive. Heating system was manned in such way to save cost so all guests were suffering. Hot water was on the limit. Food is limited in choices, mainly fried. We were 7 families with 10 kids and but food was only available for adults even we paid for half board. We were explained that the price covers only the accomodation for kids but not the food. Bad idea to look for explanations...the hosts were feeling that we dont understand the system and perhaps never been to a reveillon (btw this was the period we spent there). It is a pity and a shame that such a wonderful place is organized like in the 90's...
