Visited for Sunday Lunch on 16th June. Jane and Angela were, as ever, amazing. I've probably visited this restaurant 25+ times and it never fails to impress.. That desert trolley!!!! Whilst we miss Mary and Kathleen, this institution is still going strong. Looking forward to next visit.

This is my second time reviewing SeaView. This is where we go for a special meal out when we have a bunch of family members together in Bantry. And we had yet another wonderful meal here. Food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious as always. It was great to see Jane, who took amazing care of us, along with her team. I did miss not seeing Kathleen but seems her nephew is doing a great job carrying on the torch. They also have a seaweed bath house that I didn’t have time to sample but will next visit to Eire 🇮🇪☘️💚

What a treat! Staying in this stately manor home, with lovely drawing rooms, a fire and amazing food was a highlight for our little group from Australia! Wonderful host who gave us excellent travel advise. Thankyou!

Basically, the staff is pretentious, the food expensive for the small portion you get and if your not the first in the shower in the morning, you will get an ice cold shower. Also, the beds are uncomfortable. Enjoy. I didn't.

Stayed 2 nights in a junior suite. Lovely view over the front garden. Large room, enormous bed (super king size?). Good modern bathroom - with full bath. Robes & slippers provided - a nice touch. The hotel definitely has an old world air about it. Perfect if you want to get away from it all. There is a TV in the room with about ~10 channels. Wifi only available in the bar and mobile signals are quite poor... but that helps to encourage the escape. Breakfasts were good - with a selection of cereals, fruit, breads, etc... and a fresh cooked menu to choose from. Worth going to the spa for some treatments. My wife & I both had the mud spice baths, which began with a 5 min steam sauna in a clever "sit in" enclosure. A few minor quibbles.... my wife would have preferred if the bedding was of the more usual hotel fare, i.e. duvet with white cover - instead of a duvet there were several layers of blankets (probably useful if you wanted to regulate temperature). And a odd quirky thing due to the size of the bed was that the mattress pads were a little short of the edge. The curtains & blinds were insufficient to adequately block out morning light. However on balance, I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and quality of the hotel and would happily return.
