Fantastic hotel in every way. Came for 4 days and decided to stay for rest of trip rather than island hopping as it was so sublime.

It is family run so you see the same friendly faces and everyone is genuinely helpful, from the front desk to the kitchen, bar and cleaners.

A great buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order is included which has almost everything and more! Chocolate mini croissants, freshly baked bread, the list goes on!

Dinner at the restaurant is great too! Freshly caught fish is the highlight.

Location is amazing as the hotel is secluded yet a short walk from the village and ferry.

The beach has several areas so there is plenty of space for privacy if desired.

A surprising number of English language channels available for the rare occasion one may choose to watch a late night show rather than enjoy a drink by the ocean (the better option!).

Too many people to thank, but Damir (front desk manager who helped with everything!), Katarina and Josip to name a few.

Thoroughly relaxing and unreservedly recommended. Will come back.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the hotel Bozica. I can’t recommend this hotel, country, and island enough. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us and nothing was a problem to arrange, trips out, transport too and from the airport, or trips to other parts of the island. I traveled with my family (one being a 5 year old) and the hotel and location was perfect. Door to door from the airport it only took 50 minutes. 10 minutes of that is by boat and the whole process was smooth and stress free. The food at the hotel was lovely as well as eating out at some of the local restaurants. The price for food and drink was also reasonable. We visited Dubrovnik old town as well as some island hopping so got to see a lot of the country in the week we stayed. Our rooms were lovely and clean and functional. The sea was crystal clear and the use of kayaks a available. Ideally take sea shoes as the sea is pebbly. I can’t find any faults with this hotel and I want to thank the reception staff for amazing communication and making sure our family holiday happened. We will no doubt be retiring :-)

What an absolute gem of a hotel…
We arrived late Sunday via the car ferry and the restaurant was still serving us after 10pm …
All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating..
Dalmir and Katrina made us so welcome…
Our room had absolutely no faults…
Lovely balcony with a sea view (A21) comes highly recommended..
It was dark on arrival but when the sun came up the next morning…
Wow what a beautiful location…
Sat on the hill side with fantastic views …
Infinity pool and private beach front…
Because it is a small hotel it never felt overcrowded…
No need to put towels out the night before on the sun beds😅…
All towels were provided for by the hotel …
Breakfast was amazing a huge choice of fresh food …
Again the staff couldn’t do enough for us …
The location is staggering very quiet but so relaxing..
We took a bus to another village where we had the most amazing meal
There is also a lovely cove with a beach and bar …
We stayed with our honeymooning friends who had a lovely garden room …
We also met a lovely German family who we will keep in contact with…
We just didn’t want to leave ..
We were waved off by our friends on a private boat ..
Felt like James Bond !!
All in all highly recommended…

We visited for a 5 night stay as part of a longer trip in Croatia. The hotel was perfect from start to finish - great service by Damir to organise our booking and transfers, spacious rooms, perfect view from the restaurant terrace and the pool and relaxing spot with sunbeds down by the pool.

Plenty of food options for us in the restaurant, particularly fresh fish. Service was really attentive and friendly at all times. There are also a couple of restaurants and bars within walking distance which also provides some variety if you want to eat/drink outside of the hotel - we tried these and they were good but we enjoyed the hotel meals more.

I think they could have done with one more member of staff to help at breakfast, but that's a very minor observation and didn't impact our stay at all.

Really recommend the hotel if you're looking for a relaxing trip!

Nothing short of perfect for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.  We booked the hotel transfers after realising the ferry times are limited and it was absolutely the right decision.  Collected from the airport by car and then to a small port for the final speedboat transfer to the island.  100% recommend booking transfers directly with the hotel.

Breakfast was a great selection with dairy and gluten free options.  We ate a couple of times at the hotel and the food was brilliant.

All super friendly staff who can't do enough to help.  They happily arranged for prosecco at breakfast to celebrate my partners birthday and also packed us a breakfast the day we caught the 6am ferry.

The hotel itself is set in a stunning location on the hill, perfect views over the sea and harbour, pure tranquility.  Plenty of accessibility into the sea but also an infinity pool.  Good sized room and balcony with the most beautiful view.
Some lovely walks around the island itself and easy access to the port to catch the ferry to the other islands.

Probably the most beautiful location we have ever stayed at.

We stayed here for 10 nights as part of a month long trip to Croatia. We absolutely loved this hotel. They arranged for a private transfer from our prior accommodation and this was very well organised and efficient.

All the staff here are friendly and helpful although it did seem like they were short staffed as at times it was difficult to find someone for service. The staff were all so lovely to our spirited 3 year old and we were made to feel very welcome.

We stayed in one of the first floor apartments with a terrace. The room was gorgeous and very spacious but the terrace was the real star. The views from the terrace are incredible and we sat out here every night watching the moon and the boats.

It’s less than a 10 minute walk to a small beach which is very quiet and good for children. There’s a little town with a harbour and a few restaurants.

Overall I would recommend this hotel 110%. We can’t wait to return.

We have just returned home from a 2 weeks holidays in Bozica Hotel, my son, my wife and myself. This is the second year running and it will not be the last one. The service is second to none, top service from EVERY member of the staff, they really make you feel at home. Relaxed atmosphere in croatian coast at its very best. Regarding COVID, we felt very safe in fact safer than in the UK where we live, all members of the staff wear face masks and take their temperature daily, for breakfast you are served rather than usual buffet to minimise contact, hand gel available throughout the hotel. This year it was very quiet compared to last year as ther is an evident tourism crisis all over the Mediterranean sea. Our hearts are with the owners, the Kristic family and every single person affected by this tourism crisis. As I said this has been our second year and won`t be the last one.

Lovely hotel in a super location with very good facilities. Staff are very good too, but quite a lot of upsell goes on eg large glass of wine by default. Sadly we felt they were trying to squeeze every last penny out of us and no place that refuses to serve guests tap water when the temperature is 38 degrees will find too much favour with me.

If anyone had told me I would go back to the same place for seven (yes seven) years, I would have said they were mad....but there is something about this island, the hotel and the people that draws us back. The hotel is in an enviable position from which you can watch the daily comings and goings of the ferries, day trip boats and the constant zipping about of speed boats, catamarans and yachts. The restaurant has absolutely stunning views (better than the neighbouring BOWA) but the stand out once again are the super attentive people that work there. Josip is an absolute star, making a stand out espresso martini and anticipating with perfection whether the next drink was a lime soda or cold beer, Andrea and Franco worked hard in the restaurant, always with time for a chat and a smile, Elvira makes sure breakfast was plentiful and delicious , Damir and Katarina are super efficient on reception (nothing was too much trouble) and having met Nikola we know the hotel will be in safe hands for years to come! Rooms always spotlessly clean...I could wax lyrical ....once again a fantastic holiday made perfect by the guys working there.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations
The views are breathtaking in every direction
The staff are genuinely friendly and really seem to enjoy their job
It is a family run hotel with all members of the family working there smiling and laughing throughout our stay
A ten minute walk takes you to the pretty little harbour where throughout the day small parties of tourists disembark their boats and explore the harbour
We liked to kayak over to the local bar and enjoy a drink watching the tourists come and go and when they left at the end of the day take in the serenity of the island .
Great seafood at the hotel and adjoining restaurant next door
We adored the freshly made pizza and aperol in the bar at the harbour.
We will return

Is there anywhere nearby that exclusively takes HRK or are we fine with Euros only?
Answer from Alex B

Hi. Euro’s can be exchanged at the hotel but in shops and bars on the island it’s HRK only. There is a cash machine on the island but I don’t think the exchange rate used is very good. Recommend taking HRK with you. In the hotel you can sign for drinks / snacks / meals and settle with a card later. I took enough local currency to cover tips for waiting staff who deserve a good 10% / 15%. Hope that helps.?
Answer from HotelBozica

Dear MamaBOntario, Thank you for your question but it is a bit difficult to recommend how much money you will need per day for your stay with us as that completely depends on you and your spending habits. Regarding charging drinks/meals to the room, we would definitely recommend it and in the end you can pay everything by card. Kind regards, Damir
Answer from David R

Sorry, you would need to contact the hotel for definite confirmation of those dates, but I would assume the service is available whilst ever the hotel takes bookings. It costs a 100 euros each way to the airport including the private speedboat, so it is an expensive way to see Dubrovnik when the local ferry costs about euros return each and takes an hour and a quarter each way, leaving from the village only 300 metres from the hotel which I would recommend.
