When you travel in this part of Italy, you have many similar options - usually there are some structures of this kind (rather remote offering relax in a calm place) near all cities. This is one of them. I stayed here only for one night, I can´t say I was disappointed - everything was OK, but my stay doesn´t convince...

Great find on our travels, very good staff and accomodation, this hotel needs to get itself better known, its superb with suites that include bedroom . bathroom and lounge, great sun terrace as well. Free parking and the restaurant was very good with great choice. Its a bit out of town but thats better because its so quiet and peaceful.

Lovely little hotel! Staff is very friendly. Rooms are massive and clean. It is in a very remote area, so if peace and quiet is what you are after then this is for you! Has very high ceilings. Only downside was that when the boiler was on during the night time, it was pretty loud!

We stayed here for 1 night only because we did not like the town of Gravina very much. The room was very large and very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of hot water to shower. No one told us to turn on the heater in the bathroom in order to get hot water, not sure why? It would...

Although it may appear a little ran down on exterior, the rooms are clean and giant, beds are very comfortable, the shower is hot and strong, the internet is fast. Breakfast somewhat better than a cofe and a cake. Overall it is a steal for the money we had paid.

Contrary to one of the previous reviews, this residence is most convenient for those hoping to see Puglia (Alberobello) and Basilicata (Matera). The hotel is in the middle of the country, off of a typical patchy Italian highway, just a few minutes from Gravina in Puglia. The location really is fantastic, as you get a true feeling of rural southern...

Loved this hotel! Beautiful property, peaceful, clean and very comfortable beds, working a/c, modern bathrooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is within an hour's traveling of Venice, so you get a lot of bang for your buck in terms of the quality of the hotel. We were able to go to Venice twice, and even in the heat...

La Camera Ducale was a pleasant surpsise.I knew it was located in a rural area but hadnt imagined how fine that hotel would be.The room we were given was a large one with ample space for a family .Everything seemed quite new and clean. There is free parking space for the cars and a night watchman who locks the front...

We stayed 3 nights at La Camera Ducale near Gravina as part of a touring holiday of Puglia/Basilicata in May 2013 . An informal and somewhat unusual location with high standards of comfort in arable farmland location. Apartments are on 2 floors in blocks with a small outside area. Not many guests at that time of year meant that we...

“Get a suite with views over the open fields, so peaceful also get ground floor , sun terrace then for sitting out”

“The rooms are super cheap, so if you want complete privacy you can get a massive room for yourself at an economic price. However, I would recommend maximizing your dollar (or euro, etc) by booking only one room for a group of three (or even 4, if you have children) because the rooms really are large!”
