Stayed here as a last minute getaway just the two of us. First impressions were 'WOW' beautiful as you drive into the grounds. Plenty of parking, reception checking in was a breeze. The rooms were ok, bathrooms a little dated now (and no hair conditioner!!) but the bed was comfortable and had a lovely, quiet nights sleep. We took the... More

The hotel is in an excellent location and is blessed with very nice gardens and woodland. We spent three nights here as a "getaway" and were able to relax in the comfortable lounges and enjoy a couple of meals in the bistro where food is of a good standard and no more expensive than you would expect in many a... Just had Sunday lunch at Gisborough Hall and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing as was the service. One of the best places to have Sunday lunch. The hall itself is old but spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. The staff are all lovely and extremely friendly and attentive. There was a wedding going on in the orangery... More

Decided to take a last minute overnight break and having been before we opted for Gisborough Hall Hotel. The hotel itself is a beautiful building set in private grounds and is very popular for wedding / christenings etc. Very efficient check in by a very efficient and friendly receptionist. Escorted to our rooms by a very efficient porter who welcomed... More

I booked an afternoon cream tea for my Mum and her friends (traveling from as far as Spain!) as part of her surprise 50th birthday celebrations. Explaining this to the staff member who took my reservation at the time, I paid for the party in full. Embarrassingly, I have since found out that there was no record of payment and... More

Beautiful looking hotel, we visited for 2 nights just after our wedding. On the whole, staff were friendly but some of the 'service rules' made the place seem a little too pretentious. Not too much to do here either and the restaurant menu not to our taste, a little to heavy and un exciting

We stayed at Gisborough Hall Hotel for a couple of nights when attending a celebration being held there. The building is in two parts. The first is the original Hall, very impressive public rooms and passages. Grounds lovely, though there is little in the way of a formal garden to stroll around or sit in. The second part comprises most... More

Very nice hotel with beautiful surroundings, very comfortable, spacious room and nice food. The only gripe was slow service. Being on a business trip we were asked at breakfast did we want to order tea or coffee and my colleague asked to order breakfast at the same time as she had looked at the menu and was told she could... We had a lovely two-day stay at Gisborough Hall for a friend's wedding. Our room was very spacious and cosy; I loved the bed and the shower. It's a huge place and a bit of a maze; it's got lovely wedding/functions rooms and a bar. Gorgeous outside too and there are quite a few nice hikes to go on (and... More

We had a weekend in a standard room in the more recently built wing of the hotel. The room was lovely, but nothing special. On the plus side - tea and coffee making facilities, bog bathroom, comfortable bed. On the downside - despite this side of the hotel being newer, some of the fittings were looking tired, the desk, carpet... More
