What a wonderful place this is! Both the location, and Lodge were idyllic, nestled away amongst the woods a short walk away from Felbrigg Hall, and about 15mins drive from the sea, this couldn't have been a lovelier or more relaxing night away. The lodge was charmingly decorated, very warm and homely it had everything you could need. The staff...

We have just returned from a short stay at Felbrigg Lodge and cannot recommend it highly enough. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. The setting is beautiful, the food outstanding and the staff very friendly. We cannot wait to return in the warmer weather and see the gardens in their full...

THen our mission was accomplished, Sometimes when you stay home you potter do jobs all day long and before you know it you are back at the coal face again fighting the fight. Coming away even if its just for one night lets you step back and breathe and gives your brain some very valuable down time..... Roll on spring...

I stayed for one night at the bracken room in felbrigg lodge with my wife and one year old son. The room was lovely, very spacious and luxurious, lots of nice touches like a variety of teas and hot chocolates and cream tea in our room when we arrived. The grounds are very peaceful, the perfect place to relax. The...

Had a fabulous weekend. We decided to stay for my husband's 60th. It was worth every penny. Very quiet and secluded. Amazing food and both times we visited the pool, we had to ourselves. Both evenings we unwound after dinner with a drink and film in our room (Sky available in rooms). We usually holiday somewhere that has a pub...

Did not have the best start to the year and as a surprise to all we booked two lodges for the Christmas break. Having read the reviews and visited before we booked (we booked before we left which was at the end of June) and we got the last two lodges at the time. Both lodges were spacious and very...

Just returned from our 'Christmas Package' 3 night stay in Squirrell Cottage. Brilliant time had and already contemplating re booking for next Xmas and a summer stay too! We have just returned from a wonderful Xmas break at Felbrigg Lodge. We have spent Xmas away from home in the past, but nothing has compared to how welcome we were made to feel at Felbrigg Lodge. The lodge was absolutely lovely; there were all sorts of Xmas extras which were most thoughtful and welcome; the food was superb; but...

I can't let 2016 disappear without writing a review for this wonderful hotel in Aylmerton. The fact that I have stayed here twice this year (June and September) for 5 nights on each occasion should speak volumes about its quality, however I would like to be specific about some of Felbrigg Lodge's excellent features. I am in my fifties and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Felbrigg Lodge in a unique small boutique hotel in North Norfolk (we are boutique not because of the modern minimalistic décor, but because we are one of a kind, we have an independent attitude and our clients are individualist too. We offer a unique guest experience)The hotel is not a typical one it has no long dark corridors where someone slams a door at 2am,or drops a shoe on the floor just when you have got to sleep. Nor does it have large empty reception rooms which look like an upmarket furniture warehouse which are only full on high days and holidays. We don't need them all our rooms are suites and have ample seating again not like most hotels that are so small you have to sit on the bed to be comfortable and watch telly. We are set in a beautiful woodland location where relaxation and peace are paramount. There are eight rooms set in the grounds which are all ground floor. The remaining two can be found in the main house on the first floor , the house also includes the small intimate restaurant that even when we are full you will never experience an extensive wait for your food. We now boast a small conservatory which overlooks the garden and babbling brook. As we are licensed you can relax and enjoy a drink, or a glass of wine. All rooms are individually styled 5 having recently been recently refurbished. We have a heated indoor swimming pool, and an outside hot tub. We endeavour to make exceptional friendly customer service our mission. ... more   less
