Good, clean rooms. Tasty bar menu and good quality breakfast. Friendly and prompt service. Well stocked bar and football on the TV. Plenty of parking directly outside room. Only negative is the rather puny shower.

Great place for a function. Friendly staff that care about the customers first. Always welcoming and helpful. Easy access from the mainland with plenty of parking available. It's not an expensive place either, well worth the money.

On 28th October 2016 we held a business dinner for 63 member and guests in the restaurant at the Abbey Hotel. When planning the arrangements we dealt with the manager, Avesh, who was very friendly and went out of his way to help in any way he could. The price charged for the food and wine was very reasonable. On... More

Arrived at the hotel and found plenty of car parking spaces. Went to check in and was met with a smile by the receptionist. The room was small but very clean and tidy. Shower and bath was also clean but one small thing..... plastic shower curtain. Yuk! In the morning went to breakfast and all the waiters and waitresses were... More

We think this is the Best fish and chips in the local area. The only place we will go for our family take away. Always hot and the portion size is excellent value for money. We have only tried the fish and chips here.

Staff I spoke with were pleasant and friendly. NEGATIVES: WiFi absolutely rubbish. I asked about their wifi.. it is useless trying to connect 99.9% there will be NO connection. The tv also is... I turn up to this hotel, it was so dated I was given key 1 which was 'just outside' I walked out to find my hotel door was on the car park next to the main road, not a room I feel a woman traveling alone should have. Walked into room old fashioned toilet which had an odour. The back... More
