We stayed here overnight ready for an early departure to Lisbon. Close to airport but not so close as to cause any noise problems. We were early getting there but Gary was great, told us how to get in to accommodation so we could get a drink and gave us directions to train station into Liverpool. When we arrived back...

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, made extra special by the superb friendly service. The family room was excellent, being a converted barn, with a double bedroom with en suite and fold out bed settee in the living room. There was a kitchen with basic requirements, although our huge cottage pie and lasagne dishes would not fit in the oven,...

We required a stop over before visiting the city centre. Got a very warm welcome, nothing seemed too much trouble and rooms were modern, clean , cosy and homely Really liked the mini kitcken and breakfast in the room. Free WiFi , secure parking and an ideal location for visiting the area

My wife surprised me with 2 nights away after checking TripAdvisor she booked us in to this wonderful B&B. I cannot say anything but good things about this place. On arrival we were greeted by Gary who showed us to our room. We had been put in to one of the family rooms that had it's own lounge, kitchen area and...

Stayed at the Barns on a recent trip to Liverpool, from the moment we arrived at the gates , we where made more than welcome. The rooms are bright and airy, with everything you need in them. Breakfast is provided in the room and is more than ample for anybody's requirements, the provision of a fridge is a real bounds....

We enjoyed just the one night here and will hopefully have the opportunity to return sometime soon. A real home from home, lovely friendly hosts who are about to help if needs be. As each unit has it's own front door and breakfast is prepared already in your accommodation you can have a quiet break without intrusion if that's what...

This is a little off the beaten track but a great room, good size with everything you could want. I particularly liked the fact that the breakfast stuffs were in the room for you to help yourself including some lovely biscuits and fruit. Really very good.

I was driving up to Scotland with my elderly and slightly disabled mother and her two dogs. I objected to paying Travelodge £20 for each dog (on top of an already fairly expensive room) and so I was very pleased to find that The Barn were happy to accept the dogs without any additional charge - and also had an...
