Stayed here on business. Was basic but ok. Owner was casual in appearance and approach but v friendly. Breakfast good. Had their small dog for company at breakfast which I liked, others might not. The reason for 1 star review is that I asked for receipt at checkout and was told it would be emailed to me. Odd I thought...

Just stayed here over the weekend with my girlfriend and we were both very impressed. Our room was clean, spacious and well furnished and we had a great view looking over to Liverpool. The included breakfast was very nice too and there was plenty of it. We asked for a later checkout time and were accommodated at no extra cost...

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Liver View. Overall, very good. When we arrived and saw the front of the building we thought completely the opposite as it didn't look very appealing as it used to be a former factory. But you couldn't really fault it. The rooms are spotless. The bed was very cosy and the...

We stayed here for 4 nights after seeing some good reviews in different places. It doesn't look much from the outside, but its great for what you pay. Its more guesthouse/ B&B than hotel, as the owner Dave gives a personal touch that you wouldn't normally associate with a hotel. If you don't mind being outside the city centre, then...

It's a very nice hotel: clean and cheap. Quite near the city centre of Liverpool..you can get there with the ferry or train easily. However there is a suggestive view of Liverpool by the room 😍 The owner is very friendly and gave us a lot of precious advices! I reccomend it!

Stayed here for one night in December 2016. Was going to stay over the river in the usual premier inn/travelodge style thing, but they were all asking about £100 (and the hassle of finding somewhere to park!). This one cost £60 and includes a car park. Mersey ferry station at the end of the road, couple of minutes walk away....

Booked the Liver View when visiting family in Wallasey. First time we've stayed but won't be the last. David was very welcoming on our arrival; the room was a good size, the bed was so comfortable I had my best sleep in weeks and the bedding was of a better quality than some major chains I've stayed with. Breakfast the...

Stayed for a weekend. Dave was a great host and helped us with the local buses and trains to Liverpool as unfortunately the ferry was not working and hadn't been since October. Told us about the walrus card which cost £5.10 for all day travel on buses and trains. Hotel was nice clean and good breakfast included in price.
