Whilst in Liverpool we went to The Leverhulme Hotel and Spa and it was excellent. I was wondering all day what would turn up for the Cream Tea - no need to worry - of those people who went they were offered coffee or tea (with milk) and myself I was offered an orange juice which was beautiful. Next followed... More

We should start by saying that the staff at this hotel are extremely friendly, especially Steven the Reception Manager. It was a busy weekend in the Wirral and we had to put ourselves down for a cancellation. We didn't hold out much hope but to our surprise Steven phoned us up to offer us a room. When we arrived Steven... More

Most wonderful afternoon tea. I requested a gluten free meal prior to our visit and the chef was able to fully accommodate this with home made cakes and scones. The portion size was amazing and the staff were more than happy to pack up the remaining cakes for us to take home. The staff were wonderful with special thanks to... More

Shocking overall, for the price per head. The food was awful. The staff need a lot more training on customer service and manners. The bar was limited stock. I have been to better fast food outlets than here. I would strong not recommend this venue.

I attended the Leverhulme hotel for a colleagues leaving do. The surroundings are beautiful but that's about it. There was 20 of us at this event, split onto two tables, before the event we had to choose two dishes from the menu for each course which was difficult for a large group and at almost £55 a head I thought... Our fourth visit so far this year; it's become our favourite "go to" venue when we want to treat ourselves to an indulgent afternoon tea. Each visit reconfirms that the food is still top notch and that the service is consistently warm, friendly and accommodating. James and Anna took the time for a chat, a little tour and made sure... Booked a Friday half-board deal and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 3 which was a "standard" room - it was actually enormous with a sofa and a wet room plus spa bath. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The only "let downs" were: No in room tea/coffee making facilities instead you ring reception and they bring a... More

Great place, we were upgraded as we had lots of work equipment in the car as going on to do a job in 3 days. Great room and staff were great, fantastic breakfast. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. Great spot as you can get the train or ferry into Liverpool and a lot quieter!
