We have been visiting the hunter's hall for over 20 years, so it's fair to say that we are making the following comments based on a fair benchmark of many many visits. Firstly, the place looks like it could do with a good clean, it was dirty. Secondly, there were three beers available, greene king IPA , abbot ale, and... More

Stayed for one night to attend a wedding at Kingscote Barn. On arrival we asked reception if they could book a taxi for us as we had no signal on our mobiles. We were presented with a list of nrs as the hotel couldn't do it for us. Not good. When we got into our room there was an awful... More

Very nice comfortable, cozy and clean room. My only comment would be regarding the proximity of the road and therefore the noise heard early morning. The breakfast was very good, the pub meals were also very good value.

Attempted to visit for lunch. Staff here are never "warm" at the best of times but this time we walked out without eating. In a 5 mile radius there are great pubs with great staff attitudes, so this place needs to start changing how it deals with customers, and that needs to come down from the management. It is the... After trying to contact this inn to place a booking over the phone. I was asked to phone back three times as there was no one there to deal with my inquiry and the computer system was down. I went to booking.com. The date booked was the wrong date which booking.com said I could change as they still had availablity.... More

Food is excellent & great value, even more so if you download the money off vouchers from the website. The only minor quibble I had was that my home-made soup came out with a solid lump of butter with the bread, when queried the waitress said "nothing I can do about hard butter!!!). Room was spacious & breakfast next morning... More

Popped in on the off chance they could take us and our dog on a busy Sunday. Very friendly service and a really nice atmosphere. Food was excellent and plentiful. Been visiting this pub every few years over the last 30 years and have never been disappointed yet.

The food at Hunters Hall has never disappointed. But I just had to write a review after having the shin of beef today. Can you say 'melt in the mouth'?! Good portion of chips with it, and even some pulled pork as what came across as a very generous garnish (completely unnecessary, but it was listed on the menu entry,... More

A lovely hotel in the heart of Gloucestershire countyside. We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. The restaurant serves lovely homestyle food and the atmosphere is charming with open fires, original beams and the lovely cotswold stone walls. The views across the fields were of trees, fields and local wildlife. I can recommend staying here.
