My partner found this place from google. We were staying down the road and fancied some pub food. After a 10 min drive found it no problem.. we walked in main entrance eveyone at the bar turned and looked. No offer of service. We found the main restaurant no one around. A lady came through and i asked if we... More

The owners and their staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food excellent. The bar has a good selection of real ales and malt whiskies. This was our first stay at this hotel and we would have no hesitation in returning.

3rd stay at the Ken Bridge hotel and as good as ever. Lovely double room very clean and really comfy bed. Very Nice en suite even though a little compact, tea and coffee facilities and quality biscuits, stayed in room 1 Great to sit outside overlooking the river after dinner in the restaurant, which was really good. Great menu choice... More

The hotel is located quite conveniently just off the main road and has decent parking in a large, unfinished, area adjacent to the hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed, warm and comfortable - some with good views over the river. The menu for dinner and breakfast is not especially exciting and the food presentation and quality is much the same.... More

We found this little hotel by accident The greeting was friendly, the room was spotless - simple, well equipped lovely view of the bridge and river, small but perfect for two road-weary travellers. The dinner was excellent - the pheasant with a cream sauce was a cut above your normal pub food, as was the creme brulee and the sticky... More

Stayed at the Ken Bridge recently for a couple of nights whilst in the area on business. Lovely old style hotel, very homely, cosy and well looked after. Food, both at breakfast and in the evening, is of extremely good quality. Friendly staff, also. Very good!

We were down at a log cabin for a few days and decided we fancied a carvery. I quickly googled carvery Dumfries and this was one of the top results. I can see why it was very good I had soup to start which was defiantly home made and tastes delicious. As for the carvery, The roast beef was perfect... More

Friendly welcome and a cheery waitress. Good Burger and Game Pie. Nice atmosphere. Clean toilets which often seems to be overlooked these days. Pity we couldn't stay longer and drink the beer as we were doing a show. Ideal for food if you are touring to Catstrand.
