Ok so it is a bit dark inside the bar areas and there may be dogs at the bar however this place is amazing. Beautiful old house (with a brief history in the room) fantastic pictures and ornaments adorn the walls, bar area is more than adequate with all the usual offerings. Room 1 has walk in shower and large... More

We just love Churston Court, it is one of our favourite places to visit, treated my son and his girlfriend to a Sunday lunch, it is a carvary so you go up and help yourself, I had roast beef, there is a good choice of vegetables and the cauliflower cheese is really lovely, it is a beautiful manor house ,... We had not been to Churston for six years and had always enjoyed our stays so decided to book one night on our way back from Cornwall. This time we were given a very small double room at the back of the hotel. The bathroom had recently been refurbished. However it was extremely dusty and the carpet had clearly not... More

The venue is stunning. Full of history and culture. I was really excited to try the food after a long walk. We turned up on a Sunday afternoon to find they were doing a very limited sandwich menu. No explanation was given by the grumpy bar staff and it was a 'take it or leave it' attitude.' We ordered 4... More

Having had a previously disastrous party here for which I left a negative review I'm happy to say that yesterday I went to an all day wedding with sit down reception and evening buffet. From start to finish it was fabulous. The food was exceptional . The service wonderful. Staff very friendly. I am very happy to now give a... More

I've been to the Churston Court many times and the carvery is always spot on! Staff are always really friendly and a lot of outdoor seating which is great for summer! The A La Carte menu also has good choices for meat eaters, sea food lovers or vegetarians. I have also been to a function at the Churston Court and... More

My wife and I usually make Churston Court our "winter pub", it normally forms part of a walk through the woods, to be welcomed by the roaring fire in the bar. We often have lunch, sandwiches and a couple of drinks before we set of home again. When asked where I would like to eat for Father's Day, I suggested... More

Being local, I decided to treat my friend to lunch recently, as a thank you and lunch was very disappointing. We both asked for sandwiches, which came with a side salad and the salad was brown and wilted!! I would not put this in a sandwich at home and so would not expect others to use it and for the... This hotel is just a short drive from Brixham in a lovely location, having a great bar and dining room. We were a last minute booking but got a reasonably sized room with a vasoconstriction bathroom. After drinks in the garden we chose to eat in the main restaurant and what a treat that was. The dishes were all superb.
