Ok so this hotel is not your corporate, faceless, boring, standard box built offering. it is tired in some places and quirky. However what it does offer is a very warm and friendly welcome by Caroline and the rest of the staff both to you the travel and your dogs if they come along. The rooms are clean and tidy,...

What wonderful cottages ! We stayed there for a weekend for my 60th birthday , we booked both Ty-canol and Pentre cottages. They are very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The lounge, dining room, kitchen and conservatory in Ty Canol were large enough for our entire group to congregate in. There are log burners in both cottages which...

We regularly visit for Sunday Carvery which is excellent value for money , 3 courses for £10. We were disappointed last Sunday however as they ran out of roast potatoes and carrots. One thing to watch out for when you go is the elderly couple who bring plastic food bags with them and sit at the table filling them up...

We booked this hotel for a short three night trip, and on arrival we had been upgraded to the best room in the house which was nice surprise, and that room was enormous and as per the picture above, it had a stunning view over the river estuary, and a wonderful view of the autumn sun sets. The Hotel whilst...

I absolutely loved this hotel! It won't be to everybody's tastes, so if you are after a modern, monochromatic, soulless experience staffed by robots then look elsewhere. I was greeted with a beaming smile and warmest welcome from the lovely Caroline. Despite turning up unannounced I was immediately not simply accommodated, but upgraded to an enormous corner room, with several...

The hotel was attractive inside and out,. We booked a twin bedded room, when we arrived we were told we would be put into one room that night but would have to move to another the next night. When we objected we were found another spacious room but it had someone's underwear in a drawer, tobacco paper in another and...

Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. They were especially considerate of my 3 dogs. The hotel is in need of some TLC in some areas but generally is very good and exceptionally clean. It is also really good value for money. The pool is lovely.

We checked into this cottage as a group of 13. Lovely cottage. Perfect for a big group. If your group is even bigger, you can book the other two adjacent cottages that sleeps 7 and 4 too (same owner). We had two bottles of complimentary welcome wine with some welsh cakes. The cottage was very clean. Bedroom layouts were great....

We were introduced to the three rivers by our family who live nearby, we used the 'spa' area and pool, it was extremely disappointing, the steam room wasn't working the hot tub was out of action due to the switch, missing/broken tiles on the steps were a major hazard, the tiles in the pool at the water line are not...

Had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious! Good menu with lots of choice, as well as a specials board, and everything was priced reasonably. The venue is quite old-fashioned and homely, and everything is very clean. My only complaint is that we were the only patrons there, so it felt strange and a bit awkward to be eating...
