We had a single overnight stay on Friday 25th Nov arriving very late at 21:00 (traffic issues on the way !!! ) We reserved the Ferguson suite which we found warm and inviting . The bathroom looked great with a modern look. The welcome we received from the staff was outstandingly friendly. The last food orders are normally 20:00 but...

Was truly impressed from the moment we entered this luxury house filled with antiques and steeped in history. We were met by Colin who provided us with a welcoming tray of tea and coffee in front of the blazing log fire as it was a really cold night. The homemade shortbread was scrumptious. We were shown to our room by...

We booked into Durn House on an Itison deal. Four couples. Rooms amazing, couldn't fault the food, steaks cooked to perfection, waiting staff so attentive and Rebecca so professional, friendly, attentive and helpful. We had a the joy of a private lounge to eat and enjoy drinks throughout the evening. Such a shame that the night ended with a 'telling...

My wife booked a weekend away for us at Durn House as part of a Murder Mystery package. We had the Silk Room, which was unbelievably large! The room was perfect, although there is no en-suite, there is a private bathroom next door. We had a meal as part of the package and the food was sublime, no faults and...

Although this visit was brief (one night), it was enough to tell us that this was a very special place to enjoy a wee bit of luxury! It was a treat arranged secretly by my wife as part of my birthday present! We were greeted warmly on arrival into the reception room, where there was a lovely log fire burning....

My Boyfriend, his parents and I stayed here last Tuesday for one night. From the second we walked in the front door of this beautiful guest house we felt at home. As I had dealt with the booking, I was asked to fill in a form just with general information and we were all asked if we would like some...

My wife and I spent a nice relaxing night at the house. The house itself is very grand but with a cosy, homely feel to it. We only briefly seen one other couple so it felt like we had the place to ourselves! The room was the Ferguson suite with an enormous and very comfortable king size bed and a...

Just back from a two night stay at this wonderful hotel. From the wonderful room, staff and amazing food, cannot rate it high enough. My husband and I stayed in the Dunbar suite, a lovely room with fantastic en-suite. Had evening meals both nights and as the saying goes "our compliments to the chef". We were there for Tuesday steak...
