We couldn't have been more impressed with everything this hotel and its staff gave to our first visit to Malham. Only two night stay, but thought we were leaving home when we checked out !! The village is luvely with alternative pubs to enjoy , but we didn't need more

This is a lovely property in a wonderful setting but the most noticeable thing we found was the warmth, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We were not travelling with dogs but many guests were and if you have allergy or dog aversion this is not the place for you. The bistro provided an excellent... More

Beck Hall is situated at the bottom of the road leading to Malham Cove, crossing a little foot bridge where our first sight of the house was the delightful garden, garden furniture and ducks in profusion. We were greeted by a very friendly and very nice lady who showed us to our rooms, stressing the fact the hotel was ultra... More

Thank you for your lovely comments about Beck Hall, the staff and dinner. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy breakfast quite as much, we use the same excellent suppliers as we do for the bistro including the local butcher Jacksons of Cracoe for the sausages and Town End Farm shop in Airton for bacon, with free range eggs, and milk... We have just had a wonderful few days here, they bill it as a dog friendly hotel, well it is more than that, it is totally dog friendly, our little treasures can go everywhere, there are no exclusions. The staff were friendly and professional, the other guests were so very friendly, may be like minded people as we all like... More

My husband and I just visited beck hall and really enjoyed our stay. On Booking hotel was told dog friendly so dogs allowed in bedrooms and dining room as we have no dog booked with reservation and hoped we wouldn't be bothered with lots of barking etc. Our room overlooking pretty stream was lovely with very comfy bed and new... Thank you for your very kind review. Yes the hotel and bistro are very dog friendly, but as you say we do tend to attract well behaved dogs, many of whom are worn out after a day of exploring magical Malham by the time it gets to dinner time and are happy to snooze by their owners' feet! So glad... More

We were told about this place by some people we met by chance in a pub. They had been here several times with their dogs, and were very enthusiastic about it. We thought we would come for one night to check it out, and to visit Malham cove. We came with our dog and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.... More

So glad to hear you stumbled upon Beck Hall and enjoyed it! We agree, you can't beat a sunny day to explore Malham and unwind by the stream with your favourite tipple. Winter's not bad either once we get the fire roaring in the Snug and chef's best winter warmers cooking in the bistro kitchen mind you. Thanks so much... More

My partner and I visited Beck Hall for one night with our fur baby in September. The hotel is set next to a stream in Malham village and is absolutely delightful! Very cosy, with lovely quirks such as the 'Honesty baaaa'. The staff, Linda in particular, were so accommodating and made us feel very comfortable and welcome with our dog,... More

Just to say that we had a wonderful 3 night break in this fabulous area. Our room (12) had obviously just been refurbished and as an avid reader it was great that there was proper lighting unlike so many other hotels. The bathroom was large and had both a bath and a separate shower. The restaurant "the Secret Garden" (open... More
