I have just returned from a biking trip to Andorra, we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights and were very impressed. Our room was very spacious and and catered for 3 adults easily. During the week the room was cleaned daily and was always immaculate when we returned from a day of biking. Downstairs their is a restaurant, bar and two outdoor seating areas, the river was a god send after a hard days biking. The hotel serves Chinese style food on an evening and this has to be the best Chinese food I have tasted. We ate 3 times in the restaurant during the week as the food was that good. The bar does a happy hour which was a nice surprise although prices were not extortionate. We normally finished our evening with a couple of gins and the servings were always very very generous. There is secure bike storage in a garage area which is kept clean and tidy and we always felt the bikes were safe. Finally the owners and staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, they always seemed more than happy to chat and give advice on best shops, restaurants etc.

I booked this hotel through Crystal Ski Holidays. Flew to Toulouse. The couch trip to the hotel took us about 3.5 hours with a stop for 45 minutes in a small town in France. On arrival the hosts were very welcoming and check in was smooth and fast. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy, and had all I could need (including a safe). I stayed on the road side of the hotel so had some good views of the mountains. The road could be noisy at busy times but was never an issue that affected my sleep. To get anywhere from the hotel you need to use buses or take a 20 minute walk. There are plenty of good places to get a drink near the Arinsal gondola and ski hire shops. The Derby is a local favourite. The food at the hotel is fantastic! Different theme every night, something for everyone, and the flavours were brilliant! Dinners included: English Sunday lunch, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Indian, and traditional Spanish. Breakfasts were sausage and bacon, eggs, croissants, meats and cheeses, yoghurt, toast, coffee and tea, and fruit juices. Regularly topped up and kept hot. Couldn’t have been happier with the food! The bar in the hotel is also excellent. Hannah was working each night I was there and went above and beyond to prepare me any drink I asked for (including learning a new cocktail for me to have my favourite!). On a day I was feeling under the weather she and Graham also made me Hot honey and lemon tea, which was a nice touch. There is a Happy Hour 4-6pm that we all enjoyed very much. The hotel was only missing a boot dryer/warmer in their boot room. Other than that there was nothing else we could have asked. There was one morning we were left waiting an hour for the bus as the free ski buses (and the local L5) are very inconsistent. However this did not affect our days here at all. Couldn’t have asked for a better value for money Hotel!

This was our second stay at the Palarine Hotel. Wee very impressed after our first stay so we decided to go back there again this year. The owners Graham and Marie are excellent hosts. The rooms are of a good quality and very clean, bar service is marvellous but the best of all is the food. Very high quality with a different theme every night. Especially your first night after a long day travelling to be given a lovely roast dinner. Cannot recommend this enough.

We stayed here as two couples and had a fantastic time. The owners could not have been more helpful. The food was amazing and the bar felt like being in a pub with a great atmosphere and a lovely open fire. Our rooms were basic but functional and the shower was powerful with an abundance of hot water all day. It’s a bus ride to the gondolas which wouldn’t suit everyone but the buses were frequent and we had no trouble getting there and back every day. We would highly recommend.

If you are coming to Arinsal, this hotel is a must. Indeed if you have a car its worth staying here even if skiing at Granvilara. Its a lovely hotel run by a British couple. The food is simply outstanding, with Sunday roast, Chinese and Indian nights. All of which are top quality. Great customer care and a lovely bar with happy hour 4-6pm and music on a couple of nights. Highly recommended

Super little hotel well chosen by Inghams for its exceptional service from Graham, Maria and Hannah to the kitchen staff and housekeeping. Great location next to free ski bus and always a warm welcome when back from the slopes. Recommended

Spent a great week at the Hotel Palarine, fabulous room, plenty of space. Agree with all the comments about the food,it was absolutely first class, especially the themed nights, Chinese, Indian, Mexican. Graham & Maria are excellent hosts, and all the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely bar environment with open log fire, and a very happy 'happy hour'😄 Free bus or paid bus (whichever comes first) takes you right to the gondola in minutes. we had a fabulous week skiing and will not hesitate to return to the Paraline, thanks for everything. Visited this hotel again but this time for Christmas ..In the past we have only visited in February half term. This is now the 6th year at the Palarine as we're always made to feel so welcome by the staff and owners Graham & Maria . Now first things first I have to say the Christmas Day meal was bearing in mind we were in Andorra was a real home from home treat . Turkey Crispy Roast Potatoes and all the trimmings .. Xmas pud and mince pies ... And we all had a Karaoke sing song on Christmas night The hotel is in Erts a little way from the main resort and gondola but its only a short (5minute) free bus ride away. The free bus runs from 8am in the morning with the last one returning just after 6pm which is fine as the slopes open 9=5 There is also a local bus that runs much later L5 .. There is a timetable for both the free bus and L5 and as the buses are very reliable there's no reason to have to ever walk! Food is a buffet .. HOWEVER it's cooked fresh for when people need it unlike a number of hotels who cook and leave it sitting under a hot plate.. so always fresh There's always something for everyone but does also have food theme nights Mexican Indian, Sunday Roast .. but everyone loves the Chinese night When you get back from skiing There's a few tables in the reception area if you just want to sit around and chat ..or play some of the board games that are available to use But we spend our time in the very inviting Bar which has open log fire.. TV's playing background music or showing the bigger sports They even have happy hour Mon-Fri when you get two for one which can be dangerous
