On arrival Derek was warm and friendly and he allowed us to occupy the top floor. We were attending a wedding in the near by Manor House Hotel which is only half a mile away. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day as we wanted to visit Donegal and Killybegs on the second day. This guest... More

We came to stay for a wedding in the nearby Manor House hotel. Derek, the proprietor was welcoming and pleasant. Everything in Longfields has a story with a nicely decorated interior. Derek offered to drop us to the wedding that evening or in the morning to collect our car. Perfect location and a great host. Thoroughly recommended.

Our stay began with a warm welcome from Derek despite our relatively late arrival! After a comfortable night's sleep we enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast. We appreciated the relaxed arrangements and home from home feeling! Would highly recommend and hope to stay again! We were in Fermanagh to attend a few meetings in Irvinestown Independent Methodist which was only about... More

The facilities are fantastic, great breakfast choices, and plenty of it. Derek (the owner) even allowed us to bring back a take away. He allowed us to make endless cups of tea. Fantastic Room. Room was nice and warm and cosy, lovely thick, (very large) towels. Sorry Derek we stayed 4 years ago, forgot to write a review. Will be... More

It was a joy to stay in Longfields House under the warmth of Derek's welcome and the lovely stove in the sitting room, which we were given use of. He is a great conversationalist and goes out of his way to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable in his spotlessly clean and well decorated house. I would have no hesitation... More

Myself and husband were attending a wedding at the Manor House Hotel and as I had difficulty getting through to the hotel to book I looked up accomodation close by, and what a gem we found by the name of Longfields Lodge. Derek the proprietor could do nothing more for us, he went out of his way to make us... More

Stayed for two nights for my son's wedding at the end of June. The two rooms we booked were immaculate and while the smaller of the two rooms had to share a bathroom, it was spotless as was the ensuite in the other. Derek the owner was an absolute gentleman and drove us up to the hotel on numerous occasions.... More

Thank you folks and glad all went well for you at the wedding..Great you both left something behind then no row over who is at fault!! Searching out family at the hotel was the simple solution as only had your home number and then too late. Thank you for your lovely comments.. Glad we're getting it close to right. More

It’s hard to remember the last time I received such a warm welcome as the one we got at Longfield’s Lodge. Derek the owner was so friendly, helpful and accommodating and took every care to look after us the whole time we stayed with him. Our en suite room was beautiful and homely, and the bed was super comfy!! The... More
