In the world of heli-skiing, the northern Cariboo Mountains and the Canadian Rockies are legendary. An abundance of dry powder, immense open bowls, spectacular glacier skiing and gladed trees await our guests. Crescent Spur fills a unique niche in the heli-skiing market by limiting occupancy to a maximum of 20 guests per week. That leaves over 250 runs in 1,500 square miles of terrain for a maximum of 20 skiers! Our guides and lodge staff are passionate about creating the trip of a lifetime for every guest who joins us throughout the season, and many of our guests come back time and time again.

Just finished our first trip to Crescnt Spur and had the best time ever. We had the owner Mark and the senior guide Keith which were both awesome! The Lodge staff were also very friendly and made our trip very enjoyable!

I've Heli-skied 11 times, the last 5 at Crescent Spur. Once you try Crescent Spur its hard to go anywhere else. The whole experience is perfect. The lodge is simple elegance, food is outstanding and the skiing, guides, pilots, bartenders, etc, are all there to give you as good a time as can be had. Mark is the owner and guide so he is in tuned with whatever happens at the lodge. He's up at 5:45 am to get the fires going and he's there when you head off to a good night sleep after dinner. I don't review on TripAdvisor much but I just got back yesterday and Crescent Spur deserves a good shout out.

Crescent Spur is a very special heli-skiing lodge where every aspect of your comfort, enjoyment, and safety are looked after to perfection. The lodge is beautiful, the staff are warm and professional, the pilot and guides are super experienced. The location allows access to fantastic skiing in either the Rockies or Caribou mountains. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have had friends go before and tell me how great this place was, but that did not do Crescent Spur Justice. From on the Hill to in the Lodge all the staff were amazing and professional. And the food, every meal was something new and deserved to be served in a 5 star restaurant.

I took my 13th trip to Crescent Spur this year and once again it did not disappoint. As virtually all other reviewers said, the owner Mark, his guide, kitchen, bar and house staff are all great folks and so welcoming and friendly. The skiing is top notch with an incredible amount of varied terrain over two mountain ranges and almost 1,500 square miles (for those of you that are used to resorts advertised in acres, there are about 634 acres in 1 square mile!). To the reviewer who said he skied low angle terrain, there is usually only one reasons that happens...when the avalanche hazard is high, the guide staff will not put you in danger by skiing very steep slopes which are much more likely to slide. Otherwise, there is plenty of steeps to ski at Crescent Spur. It always amazes me how the guides will consistently find good snow even when there are challenging conditions. They know the terrain so well that they will find the right aspect, wind condition, low hazard areas with great snow no matter what the conditions. Down days are very limited due to the extensive tree skiing with good visibility for flying. It's the complete package, best in your lifetime skiing with an incredible lodge facility and the most warm, welcoming and professional staff you could ask for.
