Perfect place to discover the Island. Lovely little cottages which are actually very spacious and have a very nice outside area. The pool, and the view from it, are great. The breakfast and dinner we had here were among the best on the island, especially the zucchini balls are excellent! But the best part of this accomodation are the people (and the cats and dogs) who run it! Super friendly! We would definitely recommend ilyesssa cottages to anyone!

Hidden gem. I was waiting here to join the crew of a sailing boat, but after one day wished the ship would not arrive for the 7 days or so. ...Food, service, accommodation - all excellent. Large garden, BBQ place, herbs planted everywhere, breakfast choices couldn't be better, any type of coffee,... Dinner is cooked by Mom and the menu changes daily (fish to be ordered in advance). Mom and son (maths student) speak English very well. Excellent wifi, so good for nomad working. High quality of guests who seek to enjoy nature. Shade and sitting areas everywhere. Infinity pool. If you need local advice, taxi, restarant and tour bookings: this is better than a 5* hotel and no queues. Weather forecast if you need it :). I will send my daughters and friends there - it's just 20 min or 23 km from the Zakynthos airport or marina +/- EUR30.

Just spent 6 days at Ilyessa Cottages with our Family and I can say it was the perfect location for us! Perfect accomodation, gorgeous apartments with very comfortable beds! The owners are really nice people, the hospitability was incredible! The food was excellent, we didn't want to go to any other restaurants because we got sooo delicious food every day, that we couldn't find better anywhere else! The pool has a beautiful view to the see, we enjoyed our time there a lot! We will go back for sure!

What a wonderful find and a very happy weeks stay. Hara and family are wonderful hosts with a beautiful place in a perfect location. Our cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, as I am sure are all of the cottages (there are 5 in total I think). The pool is above the cottages, next to the bar area and has the most wonderful view out to sea. The pool is beautiful and the children spent hours jumping in and out. Hara is an excellent host and cook, we ate in the bar area most evenings and were treated to delicious home cooked local specialities - every meal delicious! The cottages are very close to the sea, lovely beaches and local shops. Hara and family are happy to explain the island and the spots to visit and helped book various boat trips - all great fun. Ilyessa Cottages are the perfect place for a very relaxing holiday! Enjoy

Peaceful cottages located in an old olive grove, with a great view. The location and facilities on site (pool with great views, garden etc) are enough on their own to warrant a stay. What really lifts the place are the owners Hara and Dionysys - they are lovely, welcoming, friendly, helpful people and sitting around chatting with them at the bar was genuinely one the highlights of our holiday. They also gave us some great advice on places to visit on the island and the home-cooked meals were wonderful. There are some tavernas etc if you don't mind a 20 minute or so walk, but to get the best out of the place you probably want a car so that you can go exploring.

We were made to feel welcome straight away by Hara, Dionysos and their family, without them being intrusive. The cottage was lovely and spotlessly clean. We had a private terrace with a beautiful sea view. My daughters loved the kittens that were around the accommodation as well as Clara the dog. The location was very peaceful. We were sometimes the only people in and around the pool. Hara cooked some delicious dishes and catered for my wheat allergy. As this is a very quiet location we would recommend a car, not only to explore the island but also to visit restaurants, supermarkets and to go to the beach.

If you are searching for the perfect accomodation in zakynthos here you go. With the little cottage you have a small house just for yourself with a kitchen a big balcony for having breakfast and dinner outside and a small garden with sunbeds and a hammock just for you. On the top you get a swimming pool with sea view. To top this paradise off there are two friendly dogs and three cats you can cuddle with. Hara and Dennis are the perfect hosts and gave us a map from Zakynthos with all of there insider tips of the best taverns around. So in conclusion we had a wonderful week on this beautiful island and can recommend this accomodation highly!

Harra, Dionysos, 3 cats and a playful dog made our stay an unforgettable one. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Zakynthos then we highly recommend Ilyessa Cottages. Harra and Dennis are very friendly and an enjoyable company. We received a lot of good tips of where to go, what taverns to visit, when is it a good time to go to Navagio and many others. Place is clean, cozy, well equipped and provides a very good value for money. Pool is very nice and not busy at all, you have the feeling you have your own private pool. Thanks Harra and Denis for a wonderful stay!
