I can be short about this place. If you are looking for a clean affordable nice place to stay Galeana could be it. Decent. Clean. Basic. But affordable and anything but a massive all inclusive tourist gathering. Friendly and helpful crew. Cozy layout of the apartments. Small balconies to relax. Good food (lunch) never went to eat there for dinner.... More

Ameneties in the room were basic but perfectly acceptable. Air con required at 6euro per day .. no problem. Cleaned every day by great maids and even a... More

Very relaxing 2 weeks spent here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the appartments are clean and well equiped. The resort has several good Tavernas within easy walking distance and with a gentle stroll to the beach, we didn't need to go far if we felt lazy

So you want a place on the beach, a traditional greek breakfast as part of your bill, clean rooms, service beyond the call of duty and a price that will leave you smiling, then this is your place. While we were there our rental vehicle broke down. The owner volunteered to fix it. It ran better than when we left... More

This was our second stay, and it has reinforced the review I left 2 years ago - a great, cheap, friendly place to stay. We were in number 38, which was a 2 bedroom apartment with a very large balcony. This was fantastically roomy for 4 people, although the equipment is still very basic. The fridge wasn't very cold &... More

We stayed here with our 10 year old son, the room was clean but basic. The maids came daily and we're very accomadating as we didn't get up that early, so they came later. The staff at the pool bar were great very chatty and enjoyed giving out freebies! The food was really good and not expensive, the pool was... More

If you are looking for luxury, bells and whistles of the big hotel chains (LCD TV, reception manned 24/7, airco everywhere) then Galeana Apartments is not for you. If you want to taste the Cretan hospitality, friendly personel and local food then it is OK. The apartments would need some renovation but given the Greek economy of last years I... More
