... was nice and pleasant cause the hotel is located off the main road, but still very close to it and to the beach. All you need is just few minutes away on foot and there's a pool in the yard if you don't want to go anywhere. The rooms are cleaned every two days so all the best words go to cleaning ladies and to Pinelopi girl who is a manager of the hotel. She's always there if you need a piece of advice where to go or how to go there so it's like you're at home.

I stayed in these apartments for two weeks at the beginning of June this year. I had never stayed here before but, as a regular visitor to Platanes, I had seen them in passing and thought they looked lovely.
Best decision I ever made. The apartments are quite basic but spotlessly clean, and quite roomy. The owner, Maria, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The pool is amazing and again, spotlessly clean. The cleaning lady was fab, between her broken English and my broken Greek we got along nicely, she supplied me with an iron and anything else I asked for, very impressed.
It was very quiet when I was there as it was the beginning of the season, but that suited me, I needed a rest, and I got it.
The location could not be more perfect. When you go out of the apartments, turn left and you are two minutes walk from the beach, turn right and you are two minutes walk to get to the supermarket, bars, restaurants, shops, taxi rank, car hire, bus stop, cash points etc. You honestly couldn't ask for more. There is also a hairdressing salon on your way to the shops, I would recommend her too, she does hair for men and women.
The apartment was lovely, I was on my own so it was perfect for me. The water pressure in the shower was excellent (had to mention that!) There are ample pots, pans, dishes and cutlery if you want to cook, lovely little fridge, the wi-fi is great honestly couldn't have wanted more.
Would recommend these apartments to anyone, would not hesitate to book again.

The apartments are in a good quiet location in Platanias, very close to the beach and many restaurants. A bus stop is near by with a regular service to Rethymno. The apartments themselves fairly basic in terms of kitchen space and equipment but exceptionally clean . Surprisingly although not advertised breakfast is included! There is a wide selection and the coffee is very good. Nadia was very helpful.

It's a small hotel. very quite place. perfect location because you are close to the beach and to the shops.
Pinelopi is an amazing young and beautifull girl who try to make you feel like you are home.
She gives nice information.

I have spent there one week this month. Hotel is owned by a very friendly family. It has a very good location (far from highway, close to the beach and not far from shops). Rooms are spacy and clean. They have a nice cleaning lady which does a great job. I was satisfied and I will be back for sure. Owner is very nice and would help you with any question you might have. So I recomend this place.

Very nice and clean hotel!
The best choice for this price!
Good facilities for family.
Also you can visit Rethymno and Chania. The bus stop is not far from the hotel.
So if you want good hotel for the low price - this is it.

We had a perfect vacation and big contribution goes to Pinelopi and her staff.She is so professional and helpful-she gave us a lot of information about island and places that we need to visit and how to get there,also different information's about restaurant's,rent a car agencies,shops,bus lines and everything else important for good vacation.Another very important thing is accomodation. Apartments are nice,comfortable and clean with beautyfull balcony's. Hotel is not located at main street,far a way from noise but still very close to shop's, bakery store,bar's,restaurant's and 200m of the beach.

This was the first time we've been on vacation with just the two of us. We arrived at Pinelopi Hotel and there she was, waiting for us, Pinelopi! We got an upgrade because the hotel was just renovated, it was perfect. Everything was super clean and held clean as the room was cleaned everyday. Pinelopi is always available for any kind of questions or troubles. You can't really get better service then this.
Pinelopi Hotel is located a little out of the city (about 10-15 minutes with bus/car) but with a street full of little shops, restaurants, supermarket. Actually everything you need. The city in Rethymon is worth the visit though.
We love how nice the people are compared to what we've used to at our home country. This made it a little hard for us to leave, but we've made a promise....
We will definitely be back next year!
Pinelopi Hotel is for us, the best place to stay & should/will be at the top-hotels if you want to have an excellent vacation.

The people of Pinelopi are very friendly and helpfull. We had a fine room downstairs but the day after we arrived they offered us a better room with a great view, +1 for that!
ROOMS:
The rooms are simplistic but very clean, modern refrigerator so no annoying sounds at night. Against payment you can have an airco and/or safe. I really recommend the airco in high season.
There is a small kitchen but don't expect to make 5 star meals there.
LOCATION:
Pinelope is near the beach, around a 100m walk. Small but decent beach.
There is a bus stop nearby to get to big cities (taxi's aren't that expensive as well).
There are quite a few restaurants around but be carefull where you go, some offer great food/service for a nice price and others do the quite opposite of that.
We went to skypark alot (around the corner), good food and service for a decent price.
In summary:
-Simple but clean rooms.
-Good location.
-Friendly staff.
-Swimmingpool + beds included.

Na Krecie we wrześniu temperatury rzadko spadają poniżej 30 stopni w słońcu. Wrzesień w zasadzie tylko tym się różni od sierpnia z naszego punktu widzenia, że słońce jest odrobinę mniej palące (w wakacje temperatury wynoszą ponad 30 stopni), dzień jest krótszy, a noce odrobinę chłodniejsze. W okolicach Pinelopi jest bardzo dużo tawern i tłoku nie było nawet w lipcu, podczas naszego pobytu.
Plaża jest bardzo zadbana i czysta. Leżaki płatne - 5 euro za komplet, oczywiście za cały dzień. W okolicach Pinelopi najbliższe plaże nie mają systemu "gratis dla gości baru".
