The chateau was a great base for visiting the Medoc region. The host JP is very helpful, and having a vineyard attached to the venue made for easy wine tasting experience. Rooms are spacious. we went one week pre the main season starting and it showed, with not many people around or places open.

Great rustic and charming B&B with Wine being the main decor. The whole place is run by the owner J.P. single handedly and he does a great job. Everything we requested (and we requested a lot) was immediately resolved by J.P. The pool area is nice and quiet, make sure to check you will have full use of it during...

we stayed as a family from 8th August for 5 nights and had two double rooms with one bathroom servicing both rooms and an interconnecting door. Our children are 8, 6 and 2. The house is decorated and kept lovely by the owners, it really is completely rustic and exactly how you would want and imagine a property like this...

Lovely setting in the heart of the Medoc, beautiful gardens and secluded swimming pool area, plenty of nooks and crannies for you to escape to around the house and gardens. The hosts are so welcoming and so charming, thank you JP, and we enjoyed the lovely meal of duck "magrets" and the very good wines. A very peaceful setting and...

We decided to visit the South of France without much of an itinerary. We noticed Le Souley from some other reviews and decided to check it out. What a great time! Our hosts Jean Pierre and his wife Chris greeted us with such warm and kind hospitality. Their house is a restored 15th century or perhaps older winery. Besides the...

For the second time in one year we chose this place because of the friendly, warm and familiar hosts. In the middle of Medoc, JP & family will welcome you warmly; you can get dinner at 22€, 4 dishes, extraordinarily cooked, wine all you can drink from the neighbouring winery, big french table, up to around 15 persons. Rooms are...

Stayed at this Chambre d'hote in a small village in south west France for three nights. I was running the Marathon du Medoc which was based in the town of Pauillac 10 kilometres to the south, and about 30 kilometres north of Bordeaux. The house is half of a large dwelling that is surrounded by vineyards that produce the Chateau...
