Such a beautiful place to stay with the most amazing views. David thinks of everything to make your stay a 5* experience. He is also brilliant at suggestions for places to visit and eat. We never would have visited the enchanted gardens at Abbotsbury or Portland Bill but are very glad we did! My third visit and there will definitely... More

Excellent host, Dave couldn't do enough to ensure we had a lovely relaxing stay. Very comfortable beds in twin bedded room, everything you could possibly want in the room, great selection at breakfast table and lovely friendly pub within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage with delightful gardens all overlooking some of Dorset's finest countryside. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts delicious. Very worthwhile a visit.

A very warm welcome by our host David. Full of information on everything that we may need and places that we may like to visit. All within easy distance. A delightful cottage bedroom, with outstanding views of the country side. Perhaps the only downside was lack of seating in the well equiped bedroom to relax into at the end of... More

My Mom and I had the pleasure of staying at Wisteria Cottage for 4 days this past May and we had an amazing time. David is a fabulous host who cooks a mean English Breakfast and goes out of his way to make guests feel comfortable. He's a wealth of knowledge and advice about what to do and see in... More

Been to a few B and B's in my time, but none have been like Wisteria Cottage. Wisteria Cottage is located on the side of a hill, up a narrow lane, in the beautiful Dorset countryside. Because of the location, you are treated to a unique peace and quiet, bar the natural sounds of the countryside, birdsongs etc. But that... More

I wanted a break on my own which can be quite daunting and found Wisteria Cottage online. The location is both quiet and beautiful. Nothing is too much trouble from the wonderful breakfast (in my case freshly made fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit juice, a wonderful cooked breakfast using where possible quality local produce and delicious selection of differing breads... Myself and my partner stayed here from Friday till the Monday. Dave was a lovely host, very polite and helpful. Cooks an amazing breakfast, our favorite being smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The breakfast was so good that we often weren't hungry again until dinner time. The room was bright and clean. Always had all the tea, coffee and hot... More

Out of all the B&B's I have ever stayed in, this one ranks in the top three. Almost impossible to find up a country lane, made it special before I stepped into this cute, quintessentially English cottage. With only two rooms, the host will overwhelm you with warmth & kindness. The view is very cathartic & one can see the... More

I work in a 4 star hotel but this was far better. David is a great host. The rooms have all you need and more. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to perfection. My wife and I will be back here again for sure. Thanks again David . It was great to meet someone who cares about his guests.
