We stayed at this beautiful spot 5 days. It is super relaxed with great people. The family that runs the place is very helpful and friendly. The food ist absolutely delicious and great. You can relax the whole day at the terrace by the lake and also take a swim when you want. The rooms are clean and nice. You can rent a boat of you like and enjoy the nature on the lake. There are no other tourists so it is very quiet. Come here and enjoy the breathtaking view and the wonderful people. Thank you Nicole and christian

One of the most beautiful locations we've stayed in during our month long Nepal trip. Peaceful, beautiful views over the lake. Grilled fish second to none was a specialty. The host was very hospitable & the accommodation most adequate. Must spend more time there next time around.

After a couple of weeks trekking at Manaslu I went to Sanu Lake and I can't be more grateful. You can enjoy the sun, swimming, stand up paddle or/and a beer, in a place surrounded by the magnificent nature. A place like no other in Nepal. If you are close you should definitive stay a couple of days there.

We stayed 6 days in this fabulous guesthouse and it wasn't enough ! We wanted to rest somewhere and we couldn't have find better than this perfect place ! Outside of the noisy and crowded pokhara, you have here a very nice and peaceful lake and this guesthouse is literally "On d water" You will find nice rooms with the best view have had in Nepal (sunrise and white mountains literally from the bed), several facilities like wood boat and stand up paddle to enjoy the lake at his best, very very very friendly people working hard for your best. The owner have also a new place on the other side of the lake perfect for easy afternoon or even for a cheaper stay as he got rooms there. Definitely recommend this place ! Thanks to Rajan and Maya ;)

Travelling from Pokhara to Kathmandu me and my girlfriend spend an extra day at Begnas Tal. Following the few comments on TA we stayed at Sanu Lake and we hanged out on the beautiful terasse just a few meters above the lake, took a nice swim in the lake with one of the standup paddles which the hostel provides you for free and enjoyed a tasty dinner and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, very clean with an attached bath, hot shower, a fan and free wifi. We felt warmly welcome by the young family that is running the hostel and wishing we would have had time to stay longer. To get to the point; we highly recommend Sanu Lake.

This is probably my 5th visit to this property. Earlier, it was only restaurant, but it is upgraded to a small resort hotel till today. The owner who now I know personally, has try very hard to establish & run this property. Situated in the bank of famous Begnas lake in the outskirt of tourist city Pokhara, you'll find yourself in close to nature never before. You feel you are in the bank of Amazon river in the wilds of Brazil. This property has wide varieties of service focused on lake activities, and its menu has everything for a fish lovers. A nice refreshment if you're in Pokhara or just returning from trekking from world famous routes like Annapurna region or Mustang.
