Rowena is a wonder: charming, gracious, friendly... Her house is open, warm, casual... the dogs Russell and Tika are large and friendly. Rowena does extraordinary pottery and offers workshops and raku firings. Great with kids.

A wonderful warm welcome from Rowena when we arrived (unfashionably late) Who very patiently guided us through the art of pot throwing, she's a wonderful teacher (and a fabulous human being) . Rowena made us feel very, very welcome when we arrived at her special place. The property was full of wonderful places to explore and the dogs love to keep you company and guide you to the waterfalls and special wooded paths.
