Andong Hotel was the only option on our booking website but we were very happy with our accommodation. Excellent location in the pedestrian zone, a 3 minute walk to the bus stop from where you can catch the bus to Hahoe Village and so many eating options in the area. The receptionists don't speak much English but provide a very... More

I have stayed several times at the Andong Hotel, some under its old name Hotel California. It has paid parking nearby and the clerk stamps the ticket to cover the cost. Rooms are clean have large screen TV's and comfortable beds. Surrounding the hotel is a shopping and restaurant area with plenty of choices to include a 24 hour Lotteria... More

The hotel was in a great location. Big rooms and also very clean with toiletries included and also drinking water. I found the bed hard to sleep on (typical Korean hard bed) but that is subjective as it depends on if you can sleep on a hard bed.

Never heard of "Love Hotels" until visit to South Korea. This is one of them but having said that it was fine. We are a mature married couple and we were not offended by this, actually found it amusing with the lovers pack in the room, (lotions condoms etc.) the escort business cards in the lobby ! As others have... More

This hotel could be in a better spot in Andong. It is right near the major eating areas and only a 10-minute walk to the primary location for the mask dance festival. It's not a flash hotel but they do their best in the rooms (e.g. huge TV screen, little knicknacks, a foot massager!) Almost zero English spoken but that's... More

I am cycle touring Korea staying in campgrounds, love motels and hostels. At 40,000 won this hotel's basic room is excellent value. The staff speak no English but don't let this put you off. Download a translation app or mime that you want a room. The room I got has a comfortable bed, clean and large bathroom (the toilet seat... More

After we checked the Sharp Hotel (just a few blocks across the train station) our expectations about accommodations in Andong were low. You should avoid that one at all costs. At Andong hotel we checked the VIP room ($70) that was scary, very rundown, and the cheapest option ($40) which surprisingly was the best. Simpler but more efficient. It wasn't... More

We stayed at the Andong Hotel last night. The hotel is the cheapest we have found do far on our trip, it was significantly cheaper than staying in dorms in other cities! So it was a welcome relief to get a double room with an ensuite for the first time on this trip for only $52! It is very close... More

I booked this place last minute, and it was a little hard to find many hotels with English booking options - but I'm so glad I picked this one! It has everything you could possibly need, from the standard coffee to hair products, widescreen TV and your own desktop PC! Each room has their own WiFi as well. The decor... More

Stayed 2 nights. Found hotel to be clean, comfortable. Great location a short walk from trains and buses and loads of food stalls. Good value for money. Didn't notice any 'smell' - unlike our hotel in Busan. Better than we would expect as budget travellers.
