I feel compelled to write a review because I just read one that said "Saarburg and Trier have little in the way of cultural offerings". Our experience was 100% the opposite. We did all of the small museum tours in Saarburg (they were delightful!). While this is more a town where Germans vacation (we only saw 1 other American) we...

This is a holiday and recreation park. We were five people, my wife and myself, my daughter in law and two grandchildren (15,13). We took 2 adjacent bungalows. The place is basic, good beds, spacious enough, located literally in the forest. It is not a luxury accommodation, more on the basic side (hence the 4 stars). We used some of...

Visited Saarberg for 3 nights and stayed at camping Landal Warsberg, it was a lovely quiet site with a great restaurant. Food was well priced (€30) for dinner for the both of us. Swimming pool was great fun. The chair lift was a nice little bonus to the site however when we visited it was closed on a monday but...

We booked last minute through Canvas Holidays and were very happy with our holiday despite the rather damp weather! Our tent took in quiet a lot of water one morning however we were promptly moved to a drier site, the beauty of staying there during a quite time of year. The indoor pool was fabulous as were the showers within...

We stayed for 11 nights in a bungalow with 3 children. Bungalows are lovely, very clean and plenty of space inside. Some had very big outdoor spaces also where you could sit out, etc. Ours unfortunately did not so I would recommend that you request a larger site specifically when booking. Facilities in park are quite good - indoor swimming...

We stayed for 10 nights in the canvas mobile homes. The campsite is big and there are loads of Dutch. But most of the Dutch are fine and friendly. The cable cars are a must and much cheaper to buy tickets at the park. The bar is nice area and the takeaway is excellent. The canvas caravans are good and...

Outdated (mobile)homes, overcrowded and lot of noise from late night entertainment and 22:00-02:00 disco. The surroudings are nice for biking and hiking. But not much else to do or see, Saarburg and Trier don't have much to offer of cultural interest.

This is a really well run leisure park catering for both camping and those wanting bungalow style cabins. This is a modern park and deserves strong ratings. Dutch clients seem to predominate. The centrally located bar restaurant is good by camp standards and as a result is very popular. The cable car ride into the town is great and well...

Booked this as part of my parents' RCI's offering and went there during the beginning of winter end November 2015 and boy I loved this place. Getting here can be a bit tricky as we hit the road from Frankfurt airport at night - I was driving my wife and parents. If you wish to come here at night, look...

This is by far the nicest timeshare resort we have ever visited. From the moment of reception through to when we left, the people were kind and helpful, the accommodation was beautiful and in good working order, and the amenities were lovely. The cottages are individual buildings, decorated in a sleek, modern style. Really lovely views out the large windows,...
