The title says it all. I picked this B&B from a farmhouse book, well before the Internet, because of the charming line drawing illustration. I rang Topsy to get instructions before we set off (no mobile phones then), and still remember the shock and awe of seeing the farmhouse for the first time. The setting is idyllic without question, and...

This is a lovely place to stay. We were only there for one night, but the room was spacious and comfortable. We were greeted with tea and biscuits in the lounge and our hostess made a point of remembering our names, which was good. Breakfast very good and a pub not far away with good food. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on two different occasions. We thus slept in two different rooms and both were excellent, however, we had a soft spot for the large en suite room we had! The breakfast was delicious, with freshly prepared conserves and fruit - all made on the farm by Patricia (Topsy). Nothing was too...

We were disappointed. That disappointment increased the closer it came to our departure. We were disappointed that we had planned only two nights. Clearly a sorceress, Ms Patricia has conjured a remarkable comfortable elegance. In an idyllic setting minutes from Stonehenge this home has a castle-like appearance which beckons one to savor the serenity. Ms Patricia fosters the castle experience,...

A comfortable room (careful as some rooms are not en suite although the bathroom is for one's own use) and a warm welcome from the owner. Breakfast just as farmhouse breakfast should be. There is a bit of a drive to the nearest restaurants.

This is my 3rd visit to little langford. Topsy is a wonderful host, her breakfasts, afternoon tea in the guest lounge in front of the fireplace, my room 'autumn', seeing the outdoors views from my room, the beautiful countryside just can't be beaten. I only wish I lived closer than Australia.

What a wonderful find, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Topsy the owner. Had a brilliant time, only there for 3 nights unfortunately but visited Bath, Lyndhurst and Beaulieu all lovely places. Found a very nice pub at Stapleford called The Pelican really good food and prices reasonable...

My husband and I have just spent a lovely few days in ths gorgeous B&B. The room was enormous with everything we could want. The setting is idyllic and calm. Only one grumble (and a very small one!) no sausages for breakfast. Otherwise perfect.

This was our 10th trip to the British Isles, and we have stayed in many b & b's. This was one of the best ever. Topsy is a delightful hostess, the food is great, and the countryside very inviting for walks and just relaxing. I took my watercolors and painted--an artist's delight! Would return in a minute.
