We had the great opportunity to stay at Le Brecy for 5 nights. We used this location to visit various parts of the Normandie region before heading for Paris. Le Brecy is the long time family home of Patricia and Jerome and they have opened up their country B and B to travelers. They are also terrific hosts, always there... More

We stayed here with our two children over the weekend. We loved the house and the surroundings and Patricia does do a wonderful breakfast. We chose it because of it's proximity to Rouen and we spent a couple of days there shopping and sightseeing with the kids. On our last morning Jerome, the owner, nearly broke our door down and... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Brecy. We spent two nights en route to the Dordogne from the UK. Patricia and Jerome made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We visited the beautiful Honfleur and the local abbey and gardens which were all fantastic. Breakfast in the garden was delightful and our room (with little... More

As a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Paris, a stay at Le Brecy will reconnect you to the history and beauty found outside of the city walls. An active farm, the staff is friendly and offers a great breakfast to start your day. Forget the tour guide and just go explore the small cities and roads that run... More

We stayed for valentines night and were greeted by friendly host Patricia. We had an extremely spacious and beautifully presented room with separate kitchenette and bathroom. Patricia offered us a candlelit dinner in the private dining room and presented us with a delicious four course Meal and wine for only 31euros each. Although a brief stay we were very comfortable... We arrived a little later than planned, but were greeted with such a warm welcome with lots of information and we were really made to feel at home. The restaurant recommendation was incredible, brilliant food with a fantastic price. We had an excellent nights sleep with superb privacy and upon waking we were able to go and eat breakfast at... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Brecy - a centuries-old country manor house just outside of a charming village, complete with Abbey. Patricia Lanquest was the consummate hostess, serving freshly-baked croissants and baguettes at breakfast. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, furnished with family heirloom antiques. While the location precluded walking to any restaurants (none in St. Martin... More

Le Brecy is not your average B&B. This is a family chateau of traditional elegance and grace where the quality is exceptional and the hospitality without fault. We only stayed one night and wished we'd booked for longer. We thoroughly recommend this delightful retreat. We had a most enjoyable but rather brief overnight stay . It seemed such a shame to spend most of the time there asleep but we were basically en route home. Unlike the Thames estuary, the lower Seine is clearly a most beautiful area. It was a delightful surprise to have the Abbaye de St Georges de Boscherville right on... More
