My wife and I plus two friends, and our dogs, stayed for a 3 night weekend in May. It delivers excellence, and delivers everything it says on the tin ' luxury cabins in beautiful surroundings'. Located in the heart of the Forest of Dean, superb base for woodland walks, mountain bikes, canoeing and outdoor activities. Peaceful surroundings, attentive staff and...

Since we were last here the campsite ground has been redeveloped with brand new log cabins, new access roads and facilities. This now gives a choice of being in the forest or in the meadow. This is a vast improvement to the site and bodes well for the future. Our log cabin was in excellent condition, the grounds well kept...

We stayed for 4 nights here last week. The customer service has been outstanding from beginning to end. We had an unfortunate issue with our car on the travel there and were considerably delayed and they could not have been more helpful! When we arrived the welcome pack was great and the cabin was beautiful, clean throughout with a complimentary...

I have just returned from a three nite stay in the forest of dean. It was a party of ladies ageing from 30-50. The tree house cabin we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the location was bliss and tranquil. The exact reason for our trip was to have a peaceful and relaxing stay due to certain members of the...

Myself and 8 friends paid over £1500 for a 3 night stay. On arrival lodge was clean but we noticed only 6 robes and slippers were there. We went to reception and was advised they wouldn't give us anymore we would need to rent them even though we paid for the 9 adults so thought there would be 9 robes...

We visited the Forest of Dean for my husbands 30th Birthday. Everything was great from start to finish. Cabin was very clean and presented well. Hot tub was a great feature, would definitely recommend. Views were breathtaking. We hired bikes to explore the forest, went canoeing and horse riding. Thoroughly enjoyed and am sure we will be back.

Soaps ect were of a premium quality and really make a difference to the experience. Lots of facilities available to us in the lodge.
