The entrance lobby sets the tone. Magnificent staircase and chandelier and lovely pieces of old furniture dotted about, many from churches. Bedrooms clean and comfortable with en suite marble bathrooms. Continental breakfast lovely with good choices. Juices, cereal, breads, jams, pastries, meat, cheese, fruit, cakes, tea/coffee. TIP: Quietist rooms at rear of building 106 - 114 with view of square. Highly recommended.

Internal decor and rooms are still as they were which is not a bad thing but my last review I called it a pleasant stopover but this year the breakfast was poor. I don't eat much for breakfast but it is nice to have a varied choice and while it's not very different from many Spanish hotels its not enough to get 'very good' this time. Secure parking for the bikes is available and next door to the main square.

This is one of the better hotels I have stayed at during my travels north-south in Spain. It is clean, well appointed, great location and friendly staff. It also offers good value for money. The separate coffee shop / bar is one of the nicest in town.

Recently visited this beautiful hotel in the heart of Soria. It is known for it's high end massages and thermal waters. During the massage, I took my jewelry off and laid it on the towel between my legs. At the insistence of the masseuse/attendant, she "placed it in the pocket of the robe given to me for the duration of the treatment. The jewelry disappeared and despite my continued questioning and persistence the staff denied the knowledge of it's whereabouts. I could not get them to give me a definitive answer nor belief in me. I was actually told that "should and if it appeared they would find it difficult to send to me. After returning with a "local" friend I decided to go through the robes that were put in a hamper that supposedly was from the afternoon guests. To my delight I found them immediately but what was concerning was, that I found them in the first robe I pulled out from the top of the pile. I had put my robe in an empty bin, so I had expected to find it at the very bottom of it. The hotel is beautiful and the front desk offered to assist me but were unable to because it wasn't there department.

Been here a couple of years ago and nothings changed, internal décor is still typical Spain with comfortable rooms. Close to the main square which gets full of locals for their evening socialising. Hotel restaurant is just up the road and offers a good choice of local dishes.
