The residence "Le Hameau du Puy" is a tastefully composed of duplex cottages and apartments,300 meters from the slopes. A large heated indoor pool and a sauna is available in the facility. This 3-star, its architecture, its layout, its services and its location close to all amenities, is obviously the top of range residence of the station.

Good for families. Comfortable and clean. Not far from the slopes so very convenient. Staff friendly and very helpful. Our apartment slept 8, very comfortable for 6. Apartment equipped with everything you would require for self catering. Swimming pool is a good size, not overly chlorinated and the sauna was perfect after a day of skiing.

This is a slightly overdue review, but i hope it is useful for whe you book for the next season's skiing. We stayed here twice this season and both times were great. The first time we stayed in Feb'14 as a family group of 4 adults and 3 kids staying in a chalet for 8. The chalets are like houses. They have a double room, kitchen diner with a double pull out bed, bathroom and toilet downstairs, upstairs there is another bathroom and two further bedrooms. The chalets are great and could have everything you need and perfect for a family. We also stayed in the apartments located in the main building in April for a last min weekend away for 4 adults (no children this time). Again the apartments were a good size and weel equiped. The main building has a seating area, reception and is also where the indoor swimmingpool and sauna is. These were great after a day on the slopes. The only thing comment i would have for the hotel management is that it woul be great if you could open us the bar area to serve drinks (alcohol, softdrinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc). im sure peopel would love this when sitting downstairs. A great place to stay and highly recommened. I will be going back again for sure.

We went here for a family holiday, 7 of us in all. We generally try to travel to more 'French' resorts and be warned this resort is very French, barely a word of English so if your considering it you need to learn a small amount of French to get by, it's not hard, get a cd set for the car 10 weeks before and you'll be fine plus the locals will really respect you for being one of the few brits who makes the effort. Anyway first the accomodation, we stayed in a wooden cabin right by a wooded area, this is idyllic, truly idyllic. Behind the cabins they have a rustic 'go ape' equivalent with some features for smaller children, in the resort a pool so plenty to keep kids happy, I'm sure this would be a beautiful resort for a summer break too. The cabins are new, furnished to a basic standard, typical for ski chalets but very well presented with balconies and some really quaint touches. Only real criticism just 1 sofa bed, so no seating for 7 people in living area unless you have a hard wooden chair, I'm a snowboarder so not good for a battered bum to rest on a wooden chair! The resort itself is small, I wouldn't have liked the resort before I had kids as it's too small and easy but if you have kids at novice stage or you only like to ski/board for part of the day it's plenty. Runs are pretty easy but some fun to be had off piste. The ski school was good, my daughters enjoyed that and instructors very patient. One word of warning, it's not like other resorts, it's not just a toll road then 15 minutes drive up the hill, this resort is quite remote and the 90 minute drive on country roads is breathtaking but wouldn't like to do it at night or indeed when there is heavy snow in the valley (which would be rare that far south I would imagine)

This was the first time we have stayed here. Great value it was cosy for 4 adults 3 kids in 8 person apartment but fantastic value for money. Very helpful reception. We orderex baguettes and croissants for breakfast from reception very easy to sort out and very tasty. Skiing was good for both new beginners and more intermediate. It was crisp first thing (some of my party thought icy) got slushy pretty quickly but hey in April at 25 degrees heat would do you expect!! We are looking to go back this August and next easter too. Well worth trying.

Recently visited the resort of superdevoluy and stayed in an 8 person apartment. Would have been very snug if there were actually 8 people but not to crowded for the 6 of us. The chalet is very basic but was clean and warm with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was fine but no kettle and the cutlery was a bit outdated. The biggest problem was a tiny 2 seater sofa so we were sat at a wobbly wooden table each evening. Reception was always helpful with check-in and checkout painless. The pool was small but good for kids. Wi-Fi was not the best but fine for picking up messages etc. The slopes were about a 10 minute walk although we found it easier to drive as we left skis in the car. We had amazing weather (20-25 degrees) so spent a lot of time on the chalets patio so the lack of seating etc didn't really effect us. The resort itself is basic with some restaurants and a few shops. We certainly had a great time and ate well (and cheaply) There are some great walks just by the chalets and a play area for kids. Overall we had a great holiday and would have no problem returning but take a kettle, a few bean bags and book a bigger apartment than you need. Booking through snowtrex, we paid around £200 each including ski hire and lift pass so very good value. Although it was t-shirt weather, the skiing was very good. A few lifts at the bottom were closed but coverage further up was superb and well groomed early on.
