We wanted a twin bedded first floor room - we were told it would be small but it was fine. It had all we wanted and needed for our 4 night stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the included breakfast was great. We ate there each evening and the pub grub was lovely. The proprietors and all the staff... More

Had a very pleasent Saturday night in the Kings Arms Hotel. Nice evening meal but was slightly let down by a bit of a wait, although we were advised of the delay. Breakfast was huge and delicious and almost inmmediately served. Beer was good and no complaints about the room - quiet and clean. All in all a great place... More

This is the first bad review I have written on Trip Advisor.Whenever we visit the Yorkshire Dales we have lunch at the Kings Arms as the steak and ale pie is my partners favourite. It used to be served in an earthenware dish with pastry lid but today we were given square pies which were obviously not home made. Menu... More

After leaving a pub in a nearby village (The Farmer's Arms in Muker) we came to Reeth, we came straight into the Kings Arms and liked the layout and interior. We came in at 8 and were asked if we could order relatively quickly which we understood and didn't mind at all. After ordering starters and mains the food came... More

Didn't spend much time on room. But was sufficient. I really can't recall much about this place but it was fine. The pub was great. Very friendly staff. Simon at the bar was really an interesting guy to talk to. Anyone passing through should have a conversation with this guy.

We visited this pub while staying in Fremington. Turned up on a thurs evening at 6.10pm. We where seated quickly and given water biscuits and ham. That was for the dog!! Our food also arrived quickly. It was very hot and very nice. The staff were very attentive. They Couldn't of done more for us. Reasonably priced too. Excellent.

I stayed here for 3 night in late June 2016, after originally intending to stay just one. A friend booked me in for 2 nights, but on arrival, tired, sweaty and in need of a pint, I was greeted with "Room? What room? We've no record of a booking and we're fully booked!" Having seen the "Vacancies" sign in the... More

My partner and I ate here twice during our Coast to Coast walk. The atmosphere is pleasant as is the bar, food is good pub grub and good value. Staff were efficient and courteous on both evenings. We would happily return.

We returned all the way from Australia for a two night stay and despite a change of management we weren't disappointed. Upon entering we were greeted with a roaring fire, napping dogs, friendly locals & a delicious meal. Our room was large, clean and comfy with the most amazing village green views. The hearty English breakfast can not be beat... More

Top marks for breakfast and breakfast staff. Hotel Management trying their very best to make the rooms more presentable, room No. 6 was perfectly acceptable, just very small for two people and especially for more than one night ( we stayed three ) small double bed, but you would not fit bigger in the room, pillows need to go, we...
