This was one of the best b&bs on the Coast to Coast walk. We received a warm and friendly welcome with tea and cake served in the conservatory. The room was spacious, it had the most comfortable bed on the entire walk, and was ensuite with a bath - such a good thing to have after a day's walking, providing,... More

Friendly and helpful welcome, including helping with all our wet gear. Tea and cake in lounge with interesting fellow travellers on arrival. Wonderful breakfast, packed lunch and room. Great location - given me a new and fresh perspective on B and B's. Thank you

Thank you for your review which we really appreciate. It is a shame when the weather is inclement but fortunately we have a very efficient drying room so we can get your wet gear in there and get it dry ready for another day. I'm pleased you enjoyed your breakfast and packed lunch; we do like to send our guests... More

The service from the owners Sheila and Robert was fantastic. My husband was making a trip there down memory lane from where he always visited as a young boy and they both pulled out all the stops by contacting previous owners for photograph albums for my husband to look at which was way above anything anyone would expect. They were... More

Cambridge House is a substantial building with a lovely garden area outside which has benches and walls to sit and just relax. We hadn't heard of Reeth before doing the Coast to Coast but I can promise that it is a place we'll visit again and possibly visit often. Cambridge House is on the way out of the village but... We had a beautiful view from our room. Excellent bed quality and linens, excellent shower and tub. One of the few B&Bs that had two comfortable bathrobes available in our room – a welcome luxury. Excellent accommodation. Stayed in the twin bedded room which had everything we could have wished for - en-suite bath / shower. Large lounge and wonderful conservatory for the guests to use. Were welcomed with hot scones and tea. Breakfast was super. Robert, the host was extremely friendly and happy to spend time chatting to all the guests. Would definitely recommend.
