Cambridge House is a substantial building with a lovely garden area outside which has benches and walls to sit and just relax. We hadn't heard of Reeth before doing the Coast to Coast but I can promise that it is a place we'll visit again and possibly visit often. Cambridge House is on the way out of the village but... Walking the Coast to Coast and it could not have been a better base. Warm welcome with tea do Fat Rascals, comfortable modern room yet with traditional twist, amazing breakfast. They even donated to the charity CRY that I was walking for. Thank you fabulous stay and we do want to return!

We had a beautiful view from our room. Excellent bed quality and linens, excellent shower and tub. One of the few B&Bs that had two comfortable bathrobes available in our room – a welcome luxury. The proprietors have worked hard to make Cambridge House an elegant retreat. Each room is impeccably decorated. And there are tranquil sitting areas in their... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are very pleased you found Cambridge House to be 'top notch'. I'm sorry you missed out on our complimentary tea or coffee and cake when you arrived; we usually offer them until about 5.30 pm after which time most guests don't want anything as it is too close to their evening meal but... Excellent accommodation. Stayed in the twin bedded room which had everything we could have wished for - en-suite bath / shower. Large lounge and wonderful conservatory for the guests to use. Were welcomed with hot scones and tea. Breakfast was super. Robert, the host was extremely friendly and happy to spend time chatting to all the guests. Would definitely recommend.

We would certainly recommend Cambridge House. Everything was to a very high standard from the bathrobes, toiletries, furniture and Emma Bridgewater mugs. The shower was powerful and the breakfast was excellent. There is a beautifully decorated living room and also a conservatory for guests. The only thing that it maybe missed was a licence so we could enjoy a drink... More
