Robert and Sheila take their five star rating very seriously! They look after every detail with a quiet efficiency that just leaves you feeling like everything is taken care of. We chose to stay there for my husband's birthday, and I had several special requests which were all fulfilled with gracious hospitality, and perfect timing. Coming back from a beautiful...

Cambridge House is a short walk out of Reeth but is well worth those extra few metres up the hill. The house is immaculately furnished with a huge comfortable lounge room. We were greeted with a superb afternoon tea with home made cakes, tea served in bone china teapot, all of which was very welcome after walking from Keld on...

Practically Perfect in every way. Warm, comfortable, welcoming and possibly the best breakfast in Reeth: Marmite and English mustard, excellent range of fruit and yoghurt, home made marmalade, perfectly poached eggs and they didn't bat an eyelid when I asked for soy sauce to put in my boiled egg (also perfectly cooked). Lovely views, and an owl hooting outside the...

Recently my Sister and I again stayed at Cambridge House. Arriving on a cold November afternoon we were greeted with a hot drink in front of a roaring log fire in the lounge. Again we were not disappointed, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the views from the windows were fantastic. I must also mention the breakfast - delicious -...

Another wonderful couple of days staying at Cambridge House. Great hospitality and the "best Yorkshire breakfast" award is justly deserved. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was very well appointed. Cambridge House is very conveniently situated with a short walk into the centre of the village and the pubs! Thanks again Robert and Sheila...

Sheila and Robert were excellent hosts and very attentive to everyone's needs and were more than accommodating with our late arrival due to bad weather. They greeted us with a choice of...

After a days walking it was great to arrive to a friendly welcome with tea and cake. A very comfortable room and drying facilities for clothes and boots. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of locally sourced ingredients. Cambridge House goes the extra mile to set itself above other B&Bs and succeeds. Highly recommended.
