This was our second stay. Staff was lovely even when the owner Terry was not around - I read some negative reviews but we thought everyone working there made an effort to ensure all guests were well taken care of. Bungalows are clean and comfortable if a bit worn. Bathrooms could be updated and fresh water shower would be really...

The staff at this place caters to simple amateur snorkelers (like us) to seasoned divers (which seemed to be most of their clientele). They serve three solid meals a day, and have a full range of equipment available. The Australian host often joins the guests on the dives, and discusses the upcoming plans with the guests at dinnertime. There is...

I moved from one resort on Bunaken to Sea Breeze after I attended a conference at Mecure and found Sea breeze to be a little piece of paradise, its unique little cabins built amongst the trees very Indonesian in style, lots of wood and mozzie net around the bed. These cabins are a little more rustic great to feel like...

I moved from the place next door mainly due to Terry, the owner. They were a professional diving outfit and the guides were great. This island is the most amazing place to dive anywhere in the world i have been to date. Go before the masses wreck it. Sea Breeze is a good place to stay and close to the...

The hotel is in a very nice part of the island, all the area is beautiful and also the sea in front and the food was very good (although sometimes a little bit scant). The problem is that it looks that the owners do not want to put some extra money. We did not arrive by boad, so when we...

We spent a week diving there. The staff was really, really nice, specially the diving instructor (Mika Legembre ), who helped us with lots of information about the dive sites, etc...We had pretty good dives with them. The food in the restaurant was awesome and the atmosphere too. The bungalows are pretty basic, but good enough to have a nice...

Most important thing first. As of today, Google Maps still shows this place more than halfway up the island. I've entered a correction but it hasn't been applied yet. Unfortunately they also have no sign in the road so I overshot the place by 400 metres by the time I ran into someone who directed me back. The entrance is...

Turtles, sharks, clouds of fish in huge corals with warm water and great visibility, but no hot water,no air con, no phone,no fridge, no insect screens. Diving is what bunaken is about and the rest is the rest. The city of Manado I North Sulawesi is 20 minutes and a headache away with bustling traffic, too many people and lots...

We spend 3 days on Bunaken in this resort. Good location directly at the sea, friendly staff, nice food and ice cold beer after the diving, what else do you want?? :) Special thanks to my dive master Mika for showing me all the amazing stuff under water!

“I would suggest choosing a room near by the restaurant area. Views are the same like others and they are still very calm. After 6:00 PM (night) this is the socializing area and is easy to move from there back to your room. I will also pay for a beachfront room as views are truly amazing.”
